Publisher's summary

Sometimes, retribution is a slippery slope toward self-destruction.

When the General invites Molly and her crew to the ArchAngel, it's not long before news also arrives of a serious threat to the Federation. It falls to Molly and her team to deal with the threat, which winds up in an intense hostage situation.

Meanwhile, back on Sark, Molly’s team helps Chaakwa along with her unconventional help to bring her father's killers to justice.

Can Molly handle everything thrown at her?

Please note: Inside this audiobook, you will find cursing - amusing cursing, but cursing nonetheless. If bad language offends you, perhaps this audiobook is not for you.

Set on the foundation laid by the Kurtherian Gambit series, the Ascension Myth tells an entirely new story in the Age of Expansion - when the Etheric Empire is fast becoming the Etheric Federation with all of the trials and tribulations that come with bringing together different peoples, systems, and ideals.

Disappointed

For me this will be the last in the series I personally will read. I looked forward to reading about Joel & molly’s relationship develop. But, for me this book turned the heroine into a dime store floozy.
In the previous books you showed the tension between them mounting & ever went so far as to give Molly the power to Feel Joel true love for her only to totally disregard Joel. No matter how the story progresses from this point Joel is now just an afterthought not the top bill. Best thing I personally feel is for Joel to sacrifice himself to save her and let your heroine suffer with the never knowing. But that’s just me .

Politics

Need to leave out the politics. If I want to discuss politics I will do it when I want and with real people. The book without the politics would be a lot better.
