About this listen
Samuel awoke in the suicide forest...
But where are the bodies? First a pack of wolves and then an ominous cloud eating away at what remains of this mysterious and barren parallel universe. Samuel must keep running to escape it.
And when he does finally find others in this forsaken land, Major, Kole, and Mara seem to have their own agenda - and conflicting theories on how they can escape the Reversion.
He’s got one shot at redemption. One chance at making things right. How will Samuel atone for the sins of another lifetime?
Even if he does escape the Reversion, what kind of world is waiting for him on the other side?
The universe is unwinding. And Samuel is caught in the gears.
You’ll love this tale of science fiction and dark fantasy set in a post-apocalyptic world.

Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Story
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Thorn has created a bleak yet flavorful world!
What made the experience of listening to Reversion - The Inevitable Horror the most enjoyable?
All in all, very solid writing that keeps you captivated on what is waiting for the characters around the corner.
What other book might you compare Reversion - The Inevitable Horror to and why?
Out of the books I have read, it definitely captures the essence of Kings, "The Dark Tower" series. I you are a fan of the books as I am, then you will be in luck.
What does David H. Lawrence XVII bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
This is the first rodeo with Lawrence at the head, leading me through a desolate world and it was a pleasant experience.
Any additional comments?
When I first learned of this series through Facebook of all things, I was kind of excited to begin this journey. I followed Thorns fan page and email newsletter and was eventually chosen for a review copy. I can honestly say this was amazing because the book exceeded my expectations. This book left me wondering what would come next and now I cannot wait to get started on Book 2. If you are a fan of horror, you owe it to yourself to check out this series.

Interesting!
An interesting tale in a creepy world. As the tale unfolds, you're dragged along with the characters as they try to figure out how to get out of their predicament. Many things happen, some are explained, some are not, in the end you want to get the next novel.

Gripping Story
Any additional comments?
Im not a huge horror fan but I do read J Thorn's books...I love them. This book is very well narrated an written. I didnt find this story "scary" persay I think it is more of a "play with your mind" creepy. The characters are easy to know an understand an I enjoyed listening to how they handled the issues that came up for them. I highly recommend this book for anyone wanting to take a day an spend it in the mind of an brilliant author....

Brain Horror
This book is a bit cerebral in its approach to horror. It is not full of spine-tingling stuff that has you on the edge of your seat, instead, it has a lot to offer the mind as you journey through a very interesting take on "after-life"(?)
I did find myself wanting a bit more action at times, but once I got into the flow, I found this to be a very pleasant read that fit perfect in small doses during my day.

Reversion
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review. While this book started slowly, as the story progressed, I became more interested in the characters, why they were in the reversion, and hiw they were connected. This was an interesting "study" on second chances.
What did you like best about this story?
The psychological development of the characters as they try to figure out why they are in the reversion and why they have a second chance.
Have you listened to any of David H. Lawrence XVII’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This was my first time listening to David. He has a pleasant voice. The varying voices for the characters were subtle but distinctive. I would definitely listen to him again.
Who was the most memorable character of Reversion - The Inevitable Horror and why?
Samuel was the most memorable character. He was "teachable," able to learn from his experiences.
Any additional comments?
I appreciate Mr. Thorn offering this as a free book. It allowed my to discover a new author and genre that I may never have tried.
