Publisher's summary

The Sisterhood: a group of women from all walks of life bound by friendship and years of adventure. Armed with vast resources, top-notch expertise, and a loyal network of allies around the globe, the Sisterhood will not rest until every wrong is made right.

Isabelle “Izzy” Flanders and Yoko Akia are beginning a new project—an indoor-outdoor café that will be the cornerstone of a market village. Izzy knows just the person to get the project off the ground: her old college classmate, Zoe Danfield, now vice president of a huge construction corporation. But the Zoe that Izzy reencounters doesn’t seem like her confident old friend. This Zoe is tense and stressed, and Izzy eventually learns why.

Buildings and bridges have been collapsing all over the world, causing hundreds of deaths, and Zoe suspects her firm’s inferior foundation materials are the cause.

When she asks questions, she gets told to keep her nose out of what doesn’t concern her. Zoe knows someone has to blow the whistle and reveal the truth.

Who better than the Sisterhood? But this adversary has money, power, and resources to match the Sisterhood’s—and no intention of giving up without a fight …

Love to have a new addition

This was a good short read with the Sisterhood series. I still miss having the men involved but they were mentioned and with some of the sisters gone on various other trips, they were mentioned. The best part of this one was a wrap-up at the end of the book.

Love the sisterhood!!

This series always warms my heart, it’s always about an underdog that has been hurt or abused, but they win in the end and I love happy endings!

The reader. When shecwas imitating the voices was distracting and frankly bad. It was annoying. Just please read the book.

I loved the story. As usual
it was an exceptional story. I love the way she "gets em."

Annie is still wickedly funny.

I wanted the story to be longer. And all the regulars included in the story

The sisterhood, how they stick together,

the sisters empower women to do the right thing. don't let other people bully you into doing what you know is wrong,

Not bad but frustrating

The storyline was okay but the last several books have not felt like the Sisterhood. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I hadn’t read the earlier books The backgrounds were so totally different from the original that I almost didn’t finish it. There should be someone in charge of maintaining continuity in such a large series. Changing the backstory (and getting names wrong ) is a disservice to the characters and the fans.

Not as good

Not as compelling as some of the other sisterhood books. This one was not as satisfying to listen to.

Predictable

I have always loved the Sisterhood but the last few books have became so predictable that they are not as exciting as they used to be. Maybe that’s just expected when you are into a series with almost 40 books.
