Aimee Turner is a country girl, living and working on her family's sheep station in rural Australia. Life is easy and full of hard, dusty work, but when her brother Joseph decides to become a contestant in a reality TV dating show, Romancing the Farmer, everything goes to hell.

The station gets overrun by city women and stuck-up producers right in the middle of shearing season. Justine Cason, the ringleader of the circus Aimee instantly detests is an irritating, arrogant presence that she is forced to chaperone around the massive property.

The two women find more in common than trading insults the more time they spend together, sparking an unexpected connection neither was looking for. As Joseph navigates the dating scene, and Aimee's sister Sally navigates a crumbling marriage, Aimee's life turns on its head in more ways than one when her blooming connection with Justine is the catalyst to leaving the land she loves.

When the worst fire season in decades strikes their patch of the world, the Turner family must find a way to save themselves and the ones they dearly cherish. Can they put aside their differences to protect each other?

The beginning was a tiny bit slow but once it picked up I couldn’t stop listening. Finished the entire story in one day. It was funny, sexy, did I mention funny? I will likely listen to this again in the future.

A beautiful story about the power of love and family. I loved it. The narration was amazing! I was impressed with the narrator’s ability to capture all the characters-in voice and personality. Well done! would definitely recommend this book!

Big brother Joey participates in a reality show to find love. Part of the game: three contestants come to the 75,000 acre ranch come to visit, play and perhaps be the one. None of this sits well with youngest sister Aimee. She doesn’t like the crew filming, the air headed contestants, and most of all the annoying producer Justine. Well of course things change, and as they do, the women lean about each other and care for each other. Along the way there are ups, downs, made up drams, misunderstandings, serious drama, and ultimately finding out what is important.
This is my first read of a Camryn Eyde book and I will look for more. She spins a good story. And the narrator, Bridie Lawrence is superb. She changes voices well and gives an excellent performance. I definitely recommend this book.

The story line grabs you from the moment the first lines. And keeps you wanting more through out. Simply amazing .

Wow! This book was an eye opener. I learned so much about Sheep Farmers. Sounds like it pays off on reality TV to follow your heart. First time with this author, but if she has a sequel I’m all over it. Off to my next adventure.

Aimee and her brother's constant bickering and childish behavior at the start of the book almost had me ready to call it quits. Glad I didn't , after the plot expands it is a really great book. The later part won't let you put it down until the end. Well worth the read.

Took A While But Worth It

First I've listened to this author and I was very pleased with this book, it was very well done. I loved all the characters, after being pissed at a bunch of them at times. Amy and Justine were so good together, their love fierce but tender. This will definitely go on the repeat listen list. Bravo!
