Publisher's summary

The Montagues and the Capulets, two families of Verona, have been feuding for generations. Young Romeo Montague intends to cause trouble at a Capulet gathering, but while there he sees the Capulet's daughter, Juliet, and falls hopelessly in love. Albert Finney, Claire Bloom, Edith Evans, and Hilton Edwards perform an unabridged version of Shakespeare's tragedy about the two young lovers, whose deaths unite their warring families.

as, d, delightful and entertaining new version of

I love this book obviously we all know the story and yet the author highlights details that I did not know previously from a historical point of view it was very well written but is well conceived and so probably acted I had no confusion distinguishing between different characters which I send * 2 when listening to a dramatization this book is in a plus plus plus so you will be delighted and to change and the time will fly really good stuff it's kind of book you can easily lose yourself in it will make you happy even though you know already know the ending of the tragedy doesn't matter it's a new presentation of an old story really good stuff a delightful and entertaining retelling of an old story it will make you happy and and you will enjoy it tremendously a delightful and entertaining version of Romeo and Juliet

Fantastic. Loved it.

Great cast of voices! What more can I say? The actors bring the play alive. Appropriate and well chosen sound effects help to visualize the scene. Loved it!
