Publisher's summary

Freemasonry is a fraternity within a fraternity- an outer organization concealing an inner brotherhood of the elect. Before it is possible to intelligently discuss the origin of the Craft, it is necessary, therefore, to establish the existence of these two separate yet interdependent orders, the one visible and the other invisible.

Interesting Background

The book mentions Benjamin Franklin and other prominent American people and their associations with the Freemasons. It does interestingly expound a little bit on old institutions but does leave out one of the oldest known institution.

Excellent Book

This book details the Masonic Origins in an extraordinary fashion. It contains the knowledge and history of Freemasonry for all Masons. Being a traveling man myself, I found this book filled with information not known to me. I really enjoyed all the information contained in this book.

??

Not for me. I found the coverage of material to be shallow and lacking in any detail.
