About this listen

Class has begun!

Aspiring alchemist Wanda and her faithful familiar Wumble have successfully secured a spot in the upcoming orientation course, moving one step closer to their greater goal.

With only an informal education in the subject to her credit, the young wizard is overjoyed at the chance to broaden her knowledge. But even a duo with their incredible power faces hurdles ahead.

Wanda must find a way to utilize her oddly willful magic, master an unusually radiant spell, and learn to brew her first true potions.

And though Wumble can only bark encouragement while a potion is in the cauldron, his own talents are essential when hunting for ingredients. Especially when those ingredients are guarded by powerful occorites, among other dangers.

This brand new series from bestseller Drew Hayescontinues with book two!

Roverpowered features a lovable pair of heroes out on their first adventure, learning about both magic and life in a progression fantasy suitable for all ages!

I'm loving the autism

I often suspect the MCs (or authors) of progression series are neurodivergent, but this is the most clearly autistic MC I've seen yet. I love it! I find Wanda extremely relatable. The story itself is also enjoyable and wholesome.

loved the story

this is a great story with a great narrator. I wish they were longer, but the story never feels rushed. I can't wait for the next one!

1 & 2 could have been 1 book

As a story? Fantastic. Releasing them as two short novellas when they’re effectively one story? Feels a bit greedy guys… :$

Fast but full world and character building

given how much I like Drew hazes books in general and this series in particular, it's truly a sad thing that he has learned how to write books that are less than 20 hours long.
