Publisher's summary

Betrayed by his own kind, King Belial loses everything: His wife, his newborn, and his kingdom. When offered a chance at revenge by the mischievous twin Goddesses Enmu and Enma, he willingly takes it. The deal is simple, at least for them. Belial gets to be reincarnated into a vessel of their choosing and offered free reign on how to go about getting his revenge, however, there is a catch. The one thing the two want from him is simple: Take humanity down a notch. Or two.

This novel contains the following elements: Dark fantasy, reincarnation, crunchy LitRPG/GameLit, Town building, foul language, lots of visceral battles, both small and large scale, character progression, and more....

Worth the listen

Love the book, can’t wait for the next one. It was chaotic at the beginning and hard to follow but definitely worth the time to stick in there till the end. It picks up pace and just plows through to a epic book.

save me during the flu!

I was not expecting this book to be very good, but i must say that i marathon-ed it straight through whilst home sick with the flu. It was a fun listen and i love MCs that i get to watch lose their humanity. I will defiantly be getting the next book in this series when it is available on Audible and i am currently looking through the other titles by this author. I was on edge most of this book waiting for it to devolve into borderline pornography, but it never did, it stuck to what it was doing and i loved it, sure there is lovey dovey stuff but even that didn't bug me. I'm still upset about the ogre though, i am hoping to see him again later on!

His range is amazing, however....

Although his voice has amazing range in octives, they should have someone else do the more feminine voices. It has an amazing story but it is major cringe especially the romantic scenes.

meh

The MC is always getting what he needs right when he needs it. The female voices hurt my brain.

Great LITRPG

Great well written and performed story! Lots of action and like-able characters! Give it a shot, it's a lot more and way better then I expected!

horrible

the narrator's male voices and Stat descriptions were good he really needs someone else to do female voices because they were absolutely horrible and it wasn't helped by the authors pitiful dialogue for rust the combat was so badly written it was hard to follow this is one of the worst litrpg books I've listened to yet

Good narrator to many inconsistencies

It's just bad.... I don't think any proofreading was done it makes no sense. This is below amateur...

Not good at all.

This is a mess. The story clumsy and uninteresting. It was like listening to some excited thirteen year old kid describe a bad D&D campaign at a coffee shop.
Worse was how the narrator voiced the character 'Rust'. His 'girl' voice was so annoying I had to turn off the story after ~2 hours.
Im completely at a loss how this got 5 star reviews.
