Ok Poor Editing

The biography itself is interesting, but the editing is poorly done. There are several clumsy translations and volume changes. Also the narrator’s pronunciation of Scalia is different than I’ve ever heard before.

A brief history of RBG

This was a short bio on RBG starting with her family's immigration story and ending with her death. There were some great details I didn't know and it corrects certain literary license taken with the movie covering one part of her life. This audio book would have been so much better if the narrator had any gift for reading aloud. She sounds like a bored student forced to read a passage aloud in class who only speaks the words on the page without any understanding of or appreciation for the material.

Biography of an Icon

I loved this biography of the brilliant an ground-breaking Supreme Court justice. I've read other books about RBG which carefully chronicled all of her many meaningful and groundbreaking cases but this one provides a good deal more information about Ginsberg the woman - the daughter, wife, mother, mentor an friend. It's a warm, sometimes funny and always inspiring look at the woman who overcame adversity, including multiple battles with cancer and her constant fight for justice, fairness and equal rights.
A must read for anyone who wishes to understand how the U.S. equal rights movement got to where it is, and how much it has to lose.
