Publisher's summary

SEALs don't poach on another team guy's girl.

Navy SEAL Andrew Carr needs a lot of mindless beach time as he comes home from his first deployment. He visits a friend he met in BUD/S at a small Florida coastal town. But what he finds is something he cannot have: Another SEAL brother’s girl.

Aimee Greer is running from the stress in her life, and knows the beach, and the arms of her hot new boyfriend should do the trick. But when Andrew Carr comes to visit, she’s not prepared for the explosive chemistry that develops between them.

When Carr is forced to defend her from her past, she realizes she has found the one she’s been searching for her whole life.

Not the typical storyline

Andrew Carr just returned home from deployment. What he needs most is somewhere to clear his mind and get back to some sort of normalcy.

Aimee Greer and her boyfriend Corey just moved to the beach in hopes of reducing the normal stresses of life and growing together.

When Corey invites Andrew to stay with them, he never thought that Andrew would break one of the most basic SEAL team morals, don't go after another brother's woman.

You just can't help but to root for each character int he book. There will be times you love them, times you hate them, but in the end everything works out like it should. Even though this is not a typical storyline for one of Sharon's books, it still had all of the aspects that make her books worth reading. There is angst, love, hurtful behaviors, forgiveness and realization, and as always JD Hart knocks it out of the park with his narration.

SEALed at Sunset

Andy Carr is a navy SEAL returning from a tuff assignment. His BUD/S buddy Corey, who has been recuperating from an injury to his arm, has invited him to visit him in Florida to kick back and relax for a bit. When he gets there he meets his buddy’s girlfriend Aimee. The friends are glad to se each other, and Andy is really impressed with Aimee, who’s sweet and funny and easy to talk to. The longer Andy is with Corey and Aimee, the more he notices how “off” things seem to be with Corey., and the more attracted he becomes to Aimee. Corey starts to spiral out of control, and we find he has other addictions. Aimee is devastated, because she has an older brother who is also addicted that she hasn’t seen in years. She leaves Corey, and won’t talk to Andy. Andy is tormented because he fallen hard for Aimee, but there’s a code among the teams, that you don’t look at another member’s girl. This book had you pulling for everyone involved. Andy for his guilt in falling for his friend’s girl. Aimee for not realizing, or recognizing what going on with Corey and her guilt at being attracted to Andy, and Corey for allowing himself to become so dependent. I enjoy SEALed At Sunset, and I’m sure you will too! I loved JD Hamilton’s narration.

Loved it

Loved the story. The characters were not perfect, and the circumstances even less so, but then love is rarely perfect.

SEALed at Sunset

The SEAL code is strong. Andy is placed in what looks to be a no win situation... stand by and support his SEAL brother who has made a mess of his situation, or follow his heart and pursue the chance at true love...

Sharon Hamilton has done a fantastic job with this story. The characters have flaws that make them very realistic. I’m looking forward to the rest of the books in this series.

JD Hart’s narration is well done. I will definitely be listening to more of his performances.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

I love Sharon’s Seals

I wasn’t sure this seal was gonna come out of this with the seal code in tact. My heart went out for this seal and I was really glad to see him figure it all out. A truly amazing story. A must read

Uncomfortable

I’m a big fan of Sharon Hamilton, but this wasn’t my favorite. I was uncomfortable with the best friend’s girl theme of this book. The writing was good, it was the topic itself that I had trouble with. JD Hart, as always, does a good job with Sharon’s book.

Andy and Aimee!

While Andy is on leave, he decides to accept Cory’s, a fellow injured Navy SEAL, offer of staying with him in Florida as it sounds like exactly the break he needs. What he didn’t need was the complication of being attracted to Cory’s girlfriend Aimee.

Aimee is attracted to Andy as well but they are both about to realize that there is a lot more going on with Cory as well. Once all the truths are revealed is there any way for this situation to end other than in heartbreak?

I believe that the author tackled the topics in this story in a realistic manner. I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook and enjoyed the performance of the narrator.

Another Good One!

I enjoyed seeing some of the SEALs outside their jobs away from the bases. I like the peek into how they still have each other's back in any setting. As always, the love story is awesome!
