About this listen

Ethan Montgomery thought he had his life figured out until the moment he and his best friend, Lincoln, met a woman in a wedding dress drinking wine out of a paper bag. Love has never been in the cards for him because he doesn’t realize what is right in front of him.

Lincoln's done his best to ignore his feelings for Ethan and focus on his art. Yet the moment Holland enters the picture, all bets are off and sparks fly.

Only Holland is fresh out of a disastrous relationship that ended with her running away from her cheating groom. She’s not sure she can trust a man again—let alone two.

But the attraction between them cannot be denied and sometimes there’s no going back—even when their pasts try to break them apart.

Ménage à trois - True Love

On what should have been the best day of her life so far, her wedding day, Holland experienced her worst betrayal, she walked in on her sister going down on her fiancee and from the way they were together she knew that it wasn't the first time they'd done this. She ran, in her wedding dress, no purse, no phone just a bottle of wine in a paper bag. She found herself sitting on a park bench alone with nowhere to go. The only thing she was certain of was that she wouldn't allow herself to be hurt again.

Lincoln McClard is an up and coming artist, his best friend is Ethan Montgomery who he has loved for years. He's never told Ethan because he didn't want to lose their friendship. He's kept himself focused on his art mostly although at the moment he seems to have some sort of block stopping him working.

Ethan Montgomery is a workaholic he's a computational chemist and he's been in love with his best friend Lincoln since he was a teenager but he too is afraid to say anything for fear of losing Lincoln altogether.

They both thought he had their lives figured out until the day they met Holland, she was a sight to behold sitting on a bench in her wedding dress drinking wine from a paper bag. None of them had any idea how much this encounter would change their lives.

Lincoln and Ethan came to her rescue, they helped her find somewhere to stay and the three became friends. But as time passed they guys both realised that she was the missing link they both needed in their lives and knowing this they decided to take the step they had both been afraid to take. They admitted to each other that they wanted not only each other but Holland too - could they make this work? Would Holland agree?

I loved both Ethan and Lincoln and liked how they both thought the attraction they felt for each other was one-sided, they were both great guys who deserved to find happiness. Holland's family were horrid, and although Lincoln parents love him they moved away years ago and Ethan's family became his family. He was as far as they were concerned part of the Montgomery clan. I liked Holland but did get a little frustrated with how she considered herself to not be as important in their relationship as the guys when as far as they were concerned she was the most important part, she was glue holding them together. I liked Lincoln's cousin Madison who was like a sister to him and meeting characters from the previous books again was great. I loved how Carrie Ann ended the story with the Epilogue and its surprise.

The narration by Tor Thom is awesome, he has a natural talent and is an incredible storyteller. He brought the characters to life and brought out their personalities. Allowing us to hear and feel all their emotions. It was a joy to listen to him bring Carrie Ann's work to life.

I was given this audiobook as a gift and am voluntarily writing my review.

Entertaining

Carrie Ann Ryan is a relatively new author to me and why that is, I have no idea.

Sated In Ink is a story of love and friendship and is Lincoln, Ethan and Holland’s story. Narrated by Tor Thom who does a good job bringing the story to life. It is a story of misunderstandings, secrets, love and I was cheering for them to get the happily ever after all three of them deserve.

I loved the friendship between Lincoln and Ethan as they finally admitted to their feelings and when Holland was added into the mix, it seemed to complete them.

As always some familiar faces popped in and this added to my enjoyment.

Love found in unexpected places

Holland Yeaton ran out on her wedding. While sitting on a park bench drinking cheap wine out of a brown bag, two hot and sweet men, best friends,Lincoln McClard and Ethan Montgomery jog by to check on her. Over time, they become best friends and more.
Holland sees the affection they have for each other and feels awkward, until they bring her i. To their circle.
I truly enjoyed this story, there were some twists and turns with some relationship angst and angry past lovers.
I liked listening to this story and felt as though I was apart of it.

Great addition to this series!

I have been a long time fan of Carrie Ann Ryan and this book is just another fantastic addition to her work. I enjoyed this new addition to the Montgomery world with Ethan, Lincoln and Holland's story. If you are not into menage stories then this one is not for you but if you have no worries, then this is one hot story. I enjoyed watching Ethan and Lincoln's relationship bloom from longtime friends to lovers and then the addition of Holland as she learns to find her inner strength and get over her demons of being left behind. Ethan learned that he needed to balance work and the loves of his life and Lincoln battled being blocked in his art. Holland also worked on not having one foot out the door of her relationships as a protection shield. Through their ups and downs, I enjoyed watching them find their way and get their HEA as I look forward to seeing the rest of this group of Montgomery's stories.
I listened to the audio version of this book and this is the first time that I have enjoyed Tor Thom as a narrator. He did a great job with the narration of this story and I look forward to listening to more of his work.
I enjoyed this book from the start and I would recommend this book to others.

Sated in Ink

Ethan, Lincoln, and Holland’s story is the continuation of Montgomery Ink; Boulder. Each of the Books in this branch of spin offs has started off at a wedding, this one includes a run away bride. Most will see this is a ménage MMF book and think “oh sexy times” but it’s so much more than that. The story, from 2 friends running on the park fighting feelings for each other all the way to all three of them figuring out how this new relationship works flows so smoothly and organically that you can’t help but love every second.

A amazing hot read

Omg I absolutely love this one. This is menage for the books. It is so beautifully written and the way it unfolds absolutely a don't put down. Carrie Ann builds her characters like no ones business. I love Lincoln, Ethan and Holland. They are all beautifully written and just makes you happy to read about them. I love Montgomery's and I love this one. The narration of this by Tor Thom was exceptional. I really enjoyed listening to him narrate Carrie Ann's book.
