**NOW AN AMAZON PRIME TV SERIES STARRING CHRIS PRATT**

'Carr writes both from the gut and a seemingly infinite reservoir of knowledge in the methods of human combat. Loved it!' Chris Hauty, bestselling author of Deep State

Deep in the wilds of Siberia, a woman is on the run, pursued by a man harboring secrets – a man intent on killing her.

Half a world away, James Reece is recovering from brain surgery in the Montana wilderness, slowly putting his life back together with the help of investigative journalist Katie Buranek and his longtime friend and SEAL teammate Raife Hastings.

Unbeknown to them, the Russian mafia has set their sights on Reece in a deadly game of cat and mouse.

In his most visceral and heart-pounding thriller yet, Jack Carr explores the darkest instincts of humanity through the eyes of a man who has seen both the best and the worst of it.

BRILLIANT!

Great story. Loved every minute. The narrator was brilliant too. At timrs the story mad me so angry. But it was due to being pulled into the story as if you knew all the players

Utterly brilliant. Thrilling and engaging from start to finish. Superbly written, Jack Carr has a fantastic character in James Reece with excellent narration by Ray Porter. Keep them coming!!

Great audiobooks, as expected

Perfect balance between descriptive and fast paced. Almost as good as the first book of the series.

Simply *Chefs Kiss*

Jack Carr's writing about the skills of tracking and hunting reminds me of one of my all time favorite and legendary writing heroes Wilbur Smith. May he Rest In Peace. This was truly brilliantly done. In The Terminal List, Lt. Commander James Reece had me breaking, grieving, angry, anxious and celebrating each righteous kill (even though I literally gagged through some of the gory bits) - Good job to Ray Porter! If you have your listeners cringing, sweating, nauseous, laughing and biting their nails, you are doing it right!. Savage Son is excellent! However, with the introduction of each new character, Jack provides a full back story of said character. It is of course necessary for us readers/ listeners to understand the characters and their motivations that drives the plot especially when it comes to the antagonists psyche, but it's a little too drawn out for me. But that's just me. Regardless, I loved it very much and I have definitely gone back to the beginning multiple times because I did not want the story to end. I would definitely recommend!
