Despite the flaws in the AI narration, this was an enjoyable listen. The story elements were interesting, engaging, and new without sacrificing character. I recognized our dear couple in this new imagining of the story.

I did feel that the wrap up and happy ending was, possibly, a bit over the top. How nice to see EVERYONE so rich! But we all like our families to be happy.

Regarding the narration, care needs to be taken to review these recordings to edit out the voicing of typos and symbols such as ‘tilda’ from being spoken.

Over all, I recommend the book. I enjoyed it.

An exciting story with loads of action and romance

Too long and melodramatic. However I did like Lady Katherine’s role in this story. Rev Collins was particularly disgusting.

The story was novel and interesting. Mostly well developed, though several characters and plot lines could have used more attention. I loved how Lady de Bourgh was portrayed. What really detracted was its virtual voice. It was slow and choppy—even at 120% speed. Of course human readers and actors are always better, but other virtual voices have been okay. Not sure what happened here. Glad I listened. Glad it’s done.

The virtual narration needs a lot of work. It frequently repeats, mispronounces, and fails to emphasize the correct words.
