Publisher's summary

World War II was the most destructive war in history. Millions upon millions of people died, including innocent civilians. Both sides—the Allies and Axis Powers—pursued secret plans, tactics, and weapons to destroy each other resulting in horrors on a scale never before seen. Secrets of World War II reveals little-known stories of the people, weapons, and battles that have affected the maps on our walls and the allegiances in our hearts.

A very good summary of the secrets of World War Two

The listening of this summary of the secrets of World War II is very easy. It points out the highlights of what happens during WWII. It details the deaths of each country that fought in the war. It is worth the time to sit down and listen to as a reminder of the atrocities of war.

Sidenote: if you ever go to Israel, be sure to make a visit to the Holocaust Museum. Words cannot express how numb I felt as I left the museum.

I do not understand how men can be so cruel. Just so you understand my perspective, I am a retired US Army officer.

Kept my interest

I didn’t really learn anything new but it kept my attention and I really like learning about history. The last one I read I fell asleep so this is definitely a win.

Review of Secrets of Wwll

I found this book quite boring as an adult. Perhaps if I was a 5th grader interested in war Trivia it would be good. Didn’t much joy it.
