Repetitive, lacks details, and creative writing

I totally appreciate the creative writing of this author. Images, fancy words, illusions, mesmerizing views, intingue, awe, wonder, fascination....The work focuses on repetitive descriptions of the fairy circles, an experiment in creative writing to show how many ways he can illustrate, recount, relate, detail the circles with little specific information. The section on research focuses on describing minutia of how the researchers talked and discussed without details of what they discussed. The work defined what science is, what mathematics is without showing relationships to the fairy circles. He described the fairy circles in several chapters, using the same concepts with a plethora of repetitive vague words like magical, enigma, brilliant, artistic. He talked about the role of the circles in folklore with no information on how or which folklore story it is related to. Yet he described an artist's fancy brush strokes. This could have been summed up in 50% of the material presented. Most chapters begin with 2-3 sentences about what he will discuss in the chapter and end with 2 sentences about the next chapter contents. He talks about scientific theories but does not present them.
