Terrific! Short, sweet, humorous, and helpful.

Tom Jordan's honest advice provided a solid start for me to pursue a life of honesty with myself. His book was easy and fun to listen to and yet really helpful for it's relatively short length. I especially liked the part about the cruel inner critic and how to defeat her! The narration was smooth, and perfect for this book.

Interesting Thoughts

I got this ARC via audiobook boom and this is my own review. This set of thoughts was interesting in that if you felt you were a loser you might gain some insight to change your thinking. The narration was good. I am not sure if I related to the thoughts but some might.

Listener received this title free

ugh ablesim

I really enjoyed the beginning of this book but it begin to use ablesim about half way through. the spoon theory and the fork theory are much better ways to understand self esteem and self worth. I'm not better because I'm able bodied.

Helpful quick listen 🙂

When I requested a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review, the title is what caught my attention.
The title however, didn't have my son as enthusiastic to listen as we played it during a car ride 😅.
I am living in a hormonal teenage HELL with my 16 year old.
He is in the (no longer a boy but not quite a man stage) and that has caused a rough patch for both of us.
With his self-esteem issues and my self doubt about the direction needed to help it's been hard.
No matter the situation.. I think anyone can find some useful information in this book.
The narrator had a pleasant voice as well, which added to the listening experience.

A wonderful, humorous stint into the world of Self Help. Thoroughly recommended.

I read Self Esteem for Losers years ago when it first came to print and was overjoyed to see it come to Audible! It was just enjoyable as the first time I read it, and I really enjoy the audio format too.

I’ve taken to playing it while I sleep so that message hits my subconscious. Since then I’m happy to say that I feel DISTINCTLY like less of a Loser. I got a raise at work, started dating a celebrity, and my cats now fight viciously over who gets my attention!

The narration was great – and the book is a wonderful, humorous stint into the world of Self Help. Thoroughly recommended.

The are no losers, and you should be positive

I have degrees in sociology and psychology, and am a funeral director. So, I try to find books that help my families in some small way, maybe just by some helpful tips, or exercises they might do, but really anything to help them through their loss. IO have been on a wining streak lately, and this book is just another tool in my kit that I will now be helping people who have suffered a loss and have no sense of self worth anymore. This happens to a lot of people, they get so tied up in their partner that they lose their own sense of value when they are gone.

I like how the book is set up into exercises that you can skip to, but seriously, the book is just over a half hour long, why skip anything? Each exercise is meant to bolster a sense of self, self worth, and have it be recognized. I see some real value in the information provided, and understand how it will help someone who doesn't value theirself as much as they should.

Brunetto does a fine job narrating, and is very pleasant to listen to, personally, I find that he was an excellent fit with the material. Even though I did receive a promo code for this review it in no way influenced my considerations of the material, and in fact, inspired me to be more honest. In fact, getting a code generally makes me harsher as a reviewer as I am more often concerned what someone like Me will decide based on my review.

The title made me laugh

Self-Esteem for Losers

By Jordan, Tom Narrated by: Damien Brunetto

I got this because the title made me laugh and I had to hear this book, but after listening to it, I decided to keep this one in my library to listen to again and again. I love how the author writes in the first person point of view, and makes it feel like we’re actually in a conversation, and a fun one at that. The topics are straight and to the point. I love how there is absolutely no part that is overwritten or too wordy. It’s short enough to listen to during a daily commute or short road trip. The narrator did a great job too. Overall, I rate this book with 5 Boundless stars. I loved it!

Short and to the point. Definitely the best book on self-esteem I've ever read, the author really knows his stuff. Narrator did a good job.

Title suite

If you are indeed at such a low point in self esteem then this book is for you.
Probably needs to be followed up by more in-depth book after this is mastered.
