Publisher's summary

Mike Ronaldson gets a chance to throw a better Halloween party then Blake Johnson. It'll be hosted at Hover Hill, a tall grey house everyone knows is haunted. But weird things start happening - bubbling punch, dangerous pranks, and disappearing guests. And who's the owner of the house anyway? Some uninvited guest is here, and he wants them out, even if it means sabotage!

Good clean shivery fun

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, for a pre-teen, this is fun material, and well performed in the audio reading.

Have you listened to any of Douglas W. Taylor’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

He's really good. Very well suited to "shivery" material. All his books seem to be full of fright or zombies.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, I did.

Any additional comments?

I love that I can adjust the speed of the audio reading on my Kindle Fire. Then I can either enjoy all of the nuances of the story and voices -- or speed it up a little if I want to get to the next chapter before dinner(!)
