About this listen

The title of this audiobook says it all. It contains two short, twisted tales.

The first story, "Love Sick in the Head", is about Timothy Bridle, who falls in love with his girlfriend's dying mother.... That's when things get really sick and twisted. A sickening love story.

The second story, "Feeling the Fear", follows one man's curiosity to discover if he can feel and experiences someone's fear. Things don't turn out to well for him or his poor "subject".

Short but not so sweet

If you love twisted humor, don't miss this short book. The first story was reminiscent of Lolita but with a decided twist. The second made me glad I was not eating while listening.
Narrator was good but his voice didn't change tone from one story to the next so it took me a minute to adjust when the second story began.

Believe the Title

This book is about 2 sick twisted F*cks. They are seriously twisted, especially the first one. He is definitely one very very sick twisted F*ck. The narration is very good. A new favorite narrator for me and warrants a 5 star. The stories are sick which I was warned, so they get a 4 star for meeting the expectations given in the title.

The name says it all!

The first story had me in shock! It was so crazy and dark that it made me laugh uncomfortably. Great narration too!

Creative twist!

I've just finished Howard Carlyle's "Sick Twisted Fucks" and I have to say, there could not have been a more fitting title.
These two stories are crafted with a cynical series of twist that kept me on my toes as I listened.
If you're a fan of the Macabre, I'd definitely recommend giving this a listen.

True to the title

Sick Twisted F*cks: Two twisted tales, one of love and one of fear.

By Howard Carlyle Narrated by: Paul Delaross

This is a book that contains two short stories that are true to the title. Read from the first person point of view to give you a look inside the head of a few Sick twisted f*cks. This is a quick read or listen; I listened to the entire book on my way to work. I liked the writing, but the content was really sick! But then again, I knew what I was getting into. Both the writing and narrating was professionally done. Kudos to the narrator for being able to read this without upchucking! Overall, I give this book a rating of 4 stars, I liked it.

Does it make me Sick and Twisted that I liked it??

I really enjoyed listening to these two short stories. Maybe I shouldn't have...but I did, lol! The first story kind of made me uncomfortable, and kind of made me laugh, but I could not stop listening. I must be sick, haha! I had to see how far the author would take it. Definitely recommend if you are in the mood for something twisted!!

Horor, sick and twisted stories

Sick Twisted F*cks, Two Twisted Tales, One of Love and One of Fear
By: Howard Carlyle, Narrated by: Paul Delaross
Length: 21 mins

This audiobook consists of two short stories. The first story is called "Love Sick in the Head". The story is in the first part unexpectedly emotional, by the end, it becomes fully twisted. By the end it includes necrophilia, so have that in mind it gets the fully weird story. The plot is somehow twisted, unusual. This book is different from what I usually listen. The narrator did a good job, thanks to the intonation, tempo and voice it is easy to follow the story.
The second story, "Feeling the Fear", is about fear, kidnapping some guy. I usually prefer a different kind of books, but it is engaging and quite visual. So if you are into this kind of twisted, sick stories you might like it.

My hope is that this review helps in your decision whether to obtain this book.
