Publisher's summary

Just as Benji Silver begins to wonder if his casual relationship with Gold might turn into more, the two men are thrown into a position that has the lovers quickly turning into enemies.

With no way to escape each other, Silver and Gold begrudgingly agree to make the best of an impossible situation. Will Gold’s search for perfection drive them apart or can Silver show Gold that imperfection can be beautiful?

Silver & Gold is a steamy, slow burn M/M enemies-to-lovers, forced proximity romance between two slightly self-absorbed artists.

This is the second book in the Silver in the City series. Each book focuses on a different couple.

Another Amazing Book!!

Silver & Gold ( Silver in the City Book 2) follows the story of Benji and Rhys, two artists wanting to start their own studio, from casual hook ups to a full fledged relationship. what a sweet, sexy story...

And Michael Stone was absolutely amazing as the narrator. I fully recommend and can't wait to dive into book 3.

Sweet & Sexy

I enjoyed this story a little more then the first. There’s a cliffhanger though…

Both men were sweet and sexy. I liked the whole contract drama that takes two guys who originally like each other and turns them into enemies of sorts. Oh, and the hiking scene... that was sexy.

Michael Stone does a good job. Though the voices are sometimes hard to differentiate, he has a nice voice.

Great continuation

I loved how it was continued with all the characters really making this more of a continuing story that jut shifts focus but we still get to see how things are progressing with the other characters. It does end in a little of a cliff hanger. Stone's narration continues to be excellent!

A Surprisingly Lovey Dovey Rivals-ish Romance

The casual hookups relationship between artists Benji Silver and Rhys Golden gets complicated when they reluctantly agree to share studio space. Some forced proximity, checked egos, and mild angst later, they're very deeply in love.

Once Benji and Rhys check their egos and learn to work together to achieve their artsy dreams, the story shifts into their being all-in-on declaring and showing their love for one another. There were times their "relationship analysis" seemed heavy handed and like it should've been internal dialogue rather than actual dialogue between the two, to the point it wasn't that believable even for a sudsy HEA romance. Their plentiful dirty talk was more of a mixed bag - some pretty hot, some fairly cringy.

Benji is the twin brother of Bode (Book 1 MC) and cousin to Kyson (Book 3 MC), and the relationship between the three plays an important role in the series. This book works as a standalone, though.

I hadn't been a fan of the narrator's delivery in Book 1 (I thought it monotone), but I didn't find that to be the case here - all told, good performance. I received a free review copy of this audio book and have left this honest review voluntarily. [Story: 3.5 Stars]

Benji and Rhys

Silver & Gold is book 2 in the Silver in th ed City series. Though this book is about Benji and Rhys it really should be enjoyed after book 1. This is an enjoyable enemies to lovers, force proximity story as Benji and Rhys, unbeknownst to them, are trying to purchase the same space for their art studios. They decide to share the space, which in the beginning in a disaster. I love Benji and Rhys together. I love how they don't give up on each other. The end sets up the next book and really makes you want to dive in. I recommend this book and series.
Narrator Michael Stone does a marvelous job.

Second in the Silver in the City Series

Great 2nd book in the Silver in the City Series and is even better than the 1st. It is entertaining from the start. Cliffhanger at the end sets up the final book. Can't wait for book 3!

Great story and narration

I felt the narrator did a great job of the story with many different characters including both male and female characters.

This is book two of Silver in the City series

I am highly enjoying this series with all of the guys.

This book focuses on Benji and Rhys and their love for each other. We briefly met Rhys in the first book and get to see who he really is on this book. I had a hard time warming up to him but I think it’s just the way he behaved that had me feeling that way. Rhys wants the perfect life with the perfect job and perfect love. But as we all know, life is not perfect.

I love Benji. He is working on opening his art studio and spending time with Rhys. Rhys is also opening his studio. A common theme for the guys is different but similar which I love.

Go on their journey of love, business partners as well as personal partners, and creating their imperfect relationship

The author has an awesome set up for the next book which left us on a cliffhanger. Can’t wait for the conclusion with Kyson and Bay. Loved seeing Bode, Sage, and Arlo

Art in the City

Silver and Gold is book 2 in this series. It was a perfect follow on and we get to know Benji and Gold and our circle of friends is growing. I am really enjoying these books with their slow burn romances.

What a good read.

great second book

I loved this book. I think it was a fantastic second book for this series.
It was written really well, paced just right. I devoured the book too. I only put it down for necessities.

Benji was looking to open his own studio for his art. He was in a casual thing with Rhys. When a paperwork mix up causes them to open a studio together, it creates sparks between them - both from butting heads and from their ridiculous chemistry. Ultimately, they realize they work better together and have a great ending!
