Publisher's summary
The program is read by Jesse Aaronson and Georgia Garrison, an actor and the author's sister.
“The narrators work well together, transporting listeners back to high school to endure the teenage experience and all the messy emotions that come with it.”—AudioFile
A romantic debut about the exhilarating highs and messy lows that swirl together when high school comes to an end, perfect for fans of Carley Fortune and Jenny Han
Golden boy Caplan and bookish Mina have been unlikely soulmates since third grade. Bound by growing up in single-mother households on the same cul-de-sac in Two Docks, Michigan, their friendship exists miraculously outside their high school’s social order. Mina is class valedictorian, expected by her late father’s parents to attend his Ivy alma mater; Caplan is laughing off prom-king predictions and the fear that he’s peaking too soon.
When Cap’s skateboard-toting, detention-dodging best friend confesses his feelings for Mina, she is whisked into a social life she never imagined, bumping shoulders with the likes of Caplan’s queen-bee girlfriend. Caplan is determined that things stay just as they’ve always been, while Mina faces the perils and privileges of opening her heart just in time to say goodbye.
As the sun sets on senior year, everything glows. What will Cap and Mina discover in the last-chance light?
A Macmillan Audio production from Flatiron Books.

Story
As Wyn’s search for the perfect story leads her to an anonymous, campus-wide dating app, she hits it off with a mystery man she thinks might be the cute RA from her dorm. But Wyn is all too familiar with being rejected because of her weight, and she’s hesitant to reveal her identity, even as she grows closer with someone who might be the guy of her dreams. When Three breaks a story that’s closer to home than he or Wyn expects, the two must put aside their differences to expose the truth—and face their real feelings for each other, which threaten everything Wyn has built.

Sadie Wen is perfect on paper: school captain, valedictorian, and a "pleasure to have in class." It's not easy, but she has a trick to keep her model-student smile plastered on her face at all times: she channels all her frustrations into her email drafts. She'd never send them of course—she'd rather die than hurt anyone's feelings—but it's a relief to let loose on her power-hungry English teacher or a freeloading classmate taking credit for Sadie's work. All her most vehemently worded emails are directed at her infuriating cocaptain, Julius Gong.

When seventeen-year-old Bailey starts a new job at a hotel waterpark, she is less than thrilled to see an old acquaintance is one of her coworkers. Bailey met Charlie a year ago on the long flight to Omaha, where she moved after her parents’ divorce. Charlie’s cynicism didn’t mix well with Bailey’s carefully well-behaved temperament, and his endless commentary was the irritating cherry on top of an already emotionally fraught trip. Now, Bailey and Charlie are still polar opposites, but instead of everything about him rubbing Bailey the wrong way, she starts to look forward to hanging out.

Critic reviews
“With blistering dialogue and prose that sings, Garrison’s soaring debut is an ode to the teenage experience, and all the feelings that come with it. This is high school at its most visceral, the glittering lovechild of LADY BIRD and THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER. A provocative portrait of love and friendship (and the blurry lines between), SIX MORE MONTHS OF JUNE is a true stunner of a novel.”—David Arnold, NEW YORK TIMES bestselling author of MOSQUITOLAND
"Every once in a while a book comes along that is honestly just slam-your-hand-on-the-table perfect, and SIX MORE MONTHS OF JUNE is one of them—a fresh, enchanting take on a classic YA love story that is equal parts smart and satisfying, that manages to be both romantic and real. I loved it. I’m obsessed."—Katie Cotugno, NEW YORK TIMES bestselling author of 99 DAYS
"A solid romance debut that sensitively explores personal growth."—Kirkus

Well written and well read!
Garrison effortlessly brings readers back to the best days of high school, beautifully capturing the highs and the lows that define so many people’s experience. The narrators are phenomenal and have incredible range, making listening to this book a true pleasure!

All the feels
Not too shallow or too deep. Just perfection of what the human teenage experience is.

Brought me back to my senior year
Perfect representation of the way you feel before graduating high school and moving on. So nostalgic and an overall amazing read!
