About this listen

A Gotrek and Felix Audio Drama

Gotrek and Felix: unsung heroes of the Empire, or nothing more than common thieves and murderers? The truth perhaps lies somewhere in between, and depends entirely upon whom you ask...

LISTEN TO IT BECAUSE

It’s Gotrek versus a god! Can the legendary Slayer defeat a slippery sea deity, or will he finally meet his much sought-after doom?

THE STORY

Gotrek and Felix are in the port city of Marienburg when they stumble across a mysterious golden bracelet. Little do they realise that this is the very trinket dedicated to Stromfels – the ancient and evil Storm God - and he wants it back! Our two heroes are attacked by the god's minions and the bracelet is taken from them, but a stubborn and determined Gotrek refuses to relinquish it without a fight. Venturing deep into the Marienburg marshes in pursuit of the thieves, Gotrek and Felix find themselves confronting the embodiment of the Storm God himself.

better than I expected

it was jarring at first with a new narrator, voices and sound effects, I can see why it might not be for everyone but after I got over that I found myself enjoying it, a good enough short story and the voices and sounds weren't all that bad

Short and action packed

For an hour, it’s pretty fast but it’ll be over before you know though it would be nice if there were a few more short stories like this with a little more production value, but overall everything is wonderful

Good story, change in va is a bit odd but manageable

The change in voice actors is jarring, not terrible but not that great either. Have to mention it as many people struggle with changes like that.

Good short story, poor performance

not a bad short story for our favorite Slayer and Dwarf friend, however too much of the story is killed by the background sounds trying to convey things the story can do without it, and the narrator is focusing too much on trying to act the part instead of narrating it properly, which can be very distracting to convey the story itself
