Who says crime doesn't pay?

The hunt for Jed quickly turns complicated, and the pursuit is fraught with danger, as is her attraction to the elusive Ronnie Moreno. In a case loaded with twists and turns, can Luca find everything she's looking for?

Not bad, not great. My biggest issue was with the MC, Luca. Her character was irritating. Brash/rude, and disrespectful. I see that crap daily, so didn't really enjoy that character.
Narrator was good, different voices and all that.

I love Luca. She has a wicked sense of humor. This series is my favorite and I can't wait for the other books to come out.

The reader has a different cadence that takes time to get used to. The story starts strong but ends disappointingly. I wanted to like the main character but as the book progressed liked her less and less. There were too many loose ends at the conclusion of the story for my taste.
