Betrayal at its best!

Another thrilling mystery by PT Reade. He grabs your attention from the very beginning and takes you on a wild ride to the end.

Jay Pritchard is Thomas Blume. He embodies the character and is very believable.

More Thomas Blume!

I’m really liking this new series so far, especially because these books are not all that long yet they are entirely captivating. Each chapter is utilized very well, and the book does an excellent job of maintaing your attention. Something is always happening in Snow Burn, just like in the first book!

Thomas Blume is a wonderful modern take on the hard-boiled detective, and the narration by Jay Prichard animates him perfectly. There are no accents used in this book (it is still set in London England) but I don’t think that really takes much away from the story.

If you liked the first book, Hard Fall, then you will probably like this sequel! There are so many great noir lines scattered throughout that fans of the genre will surely enjoy!

This book was provided by the narrator in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

Snow Burn Action Thriller

What made the experience of listening to Snow Burn the most enjoyable?

★ The experience of listening to Snowbird most enjoyable was the plot. The author did a great job writing a minor league complex book in the time allotted.

★ My favorite character was Thomas Blume, the star of the book.He is a broken man who may or may not be an alcoholic due to the murders of his wife and daughter.

★★★MAY SPOIL STOP READING IF YOU HAVE NOT READ ★HARD FALL★ ★★★★

★ Along with the alcohol, Blume tries to drown himself in work. After solving the case in book one [hurtful] he is overrun with of job offers in London. He chooses to investigate an Internet hacker who is releasing government secrets. Blume is determined to stop him, no matter who or how the British government may be involved.

★ Jay Prichard has a deep and strong voice that is perfect for the main character – Thomas Blume. He is one of my favorite narrators male narrators.

★ PT Reid is ready to introduce you to this adventure, with Jay Prichard performing along this Whodunit. written a journey Get ready to listen and hold on tight!

Was good

I absolutely was not expecting the ending! So it does make me want to listen the next book in this series. P.T. Reade has excellent writing style. I love dark flawed characters. The plot is believable as well. Iwish the books were longer, they take me a couple hours to read.

Snow Burn: A Thrilling Detective Mystery

Book 2 has Thomas still in England, still trying to find the murderers of his family. He has found a case to work as a PI, so he won't be sent home. Thomas investigates and the bodies start piling up. Will he be able to trust anyone? I'll have to listen to the next book.

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed.

Dissappointed

I read the first book on my Kindle while on vacation & was looking forward to listening to the series on Audible as now that i'm home, there's not much free time to read. However, this was so poorly narrated I could not even finish the second book. At the beginning the narrator had what sounded to me like an angry attitude which then morphed into an attempt at a John Wayne imitation. Maybe it's just me... Let me know if there's a change in narrator for the rest of the series & I'll skip to the 3rd book.
