Publisher's summary

When Elsa finds an old snow globe in the attic of the New York City mansion where she works as a cook's assistant, she is magically transported to the quaint Snow Globe Village where she meets the long-lost grandson of her employer and is offered a chance to become a baker and his wife....

Will Grant convince her to stay in the Snow Globe Village, or will she turn the snow globe upside down and take them both back to a place where it would be impossible for them to share a life of love?

Nice story

When Elsa goes into the attic to bring Christmas decorations down for her employer, she gets transported to a quaint town when she picks up a snow globe. Upon entering this new world, she meets Grant, her employers missing grandson. The story is a cute story. The narrator was horrible. I cringed multiple times and had to ouch through it. I don’t recommend the audio book. But the story itself is sweet.

Delightful!

This is one of those feel-good stories that has you smiling the entire time. Elsa grew up in an orphanage in New York City, but has found a home where she works as a cook's assistant. She is sent upstairs to bring the Christmas ornaments down, but finds herself standing in Snow Globe City. It looks exactly like the snow globe that sits on the shelf with the ornaments, but when she turns it upside down to admire the swirling flakes, she is transported to a world where no one serves another and everyone is treated as family. Her employer's long-lost grandson comes to greet her and realizes she's someone special, but he doesn't want to go back to New York City and he tries to convince her to stay. It's perfect for the holidays and with the Christian message, it's truly a special story.
Kay Webster's narration was delightful with her well-modulated and perfectly-paced voice.

A decent book

It was a ok book, just seemed to be geared more towards the teens.
I did listen to the whole book, just not my kinda story.
