Building Relationships Online

Social Media involves a set of tools that allows us to build relationships online. As marketing shifts from being subjected to broadcast methods, such as just print or television ads to an interactive approach is challenging small business owners through large corporations. Word of mouth and referral based business is key to finding new clients or customers and retaining their business. Building a community online can be a complicated task. Where should a business start? Do we need a website or blog, should we be on Facebook or LinkedIn? What other types of content can we create and publish? And how do we systematize all this to still conduct our business?

Please hire a professional

Note to authors: Please hire a professional to read your books!! Chris Brogan takes a deep breath between each sentence and it just doesn't flow. Sometimes I will take pages of notes from a book. I only wrote three sentences from this one. The questions at the end of each section started to annoy me.

Good Start

Very good introduction to the social media world. Well narrated and nice to listen to. However there are a lot of opinions and feelings there, I missed some more hard facts.
In any case, it makes you think.

Perhaps I am not the target audience since I am a geek. Maybe someone less geeky may like this book. But I had to stop reading this book, because it was so bad.

Tons of useful Info, sites and strategies--fun and interesting to listen to (I've listened to it 3 times). Kudos, Chris.
