Publisher's summary

Wendy and Wade love to play their favorite sport - Woggleball - and, like most kids, they like to win. But after a disappointing loss leaves Wendy and Wade ready to quit, they turn to their grandpa for advice.

Papa tells them:

"Woggles are winners, yes, that much is true.

But whether you win depends upon YOU.

Winning takes effort, this much you will see.

What you learn from your loss can bring victory!"

In Sometimes You Win - Sometimes you Learn for Kids, number-one New York Times best-selling author, coach, and motivational teacher John C. Maxwell adapts his inspiring life lessons for the youngest listeners, showing kids that having the right attitude will help them turn any loss into a win.

Awesome way to teach kids success principles!

This is a great adaptation for kids of one of the great John Maxwell books. I'm so happy that he made one for kinds and I'm looking forward to any more children's books that he writes.
It was a little shorter than expected, but I guess that's the perfect size for children.

Life skills all kids need to Learn from us

This book is another version of John's great work "Sometimes you win and sometimes you learn". As a John Maxwell Certified Trainer I know how much of an effect this book has on adults. The Teen version also has an Amazing effect on teenagers and how they look at aspects of Life. I can't wait to take this book into Primary Schools and see the value it brings to the Children and their Teachers. A must if you have young kids or grand kids like I do :-)

Cute, Short, Beneficial

Cute little story that is good for age 4-7. The story gives kids a point of view that is helpful in explaining that losing is just as important as winning. The story is cute and and the author/narrator makes the experience even more fun with a cheerful voice; it almost feels as if he is reading to his own grand kids. Great choice in children’s books.

Loved the rhyme! Loved the lesson.

John Maxwell has an important lesson for children to learn. Adults too. How to win and how to learn. These values are very important in our spiritual and mental health and how we see ourselves - our esteem.
