About this listen

Winter came and so did the war.

After breaking taboos and confronting the goddesses in order to save Lilith, Sol is given no time to breath as he need to be ready for what will represent his first step towards conquering the world—fighting Wratharis, the Kingdom of Beastmen.

From alliances with the witches of Salem to manipulating the elves with the help of Nefertiti, or the Denons with Pandora, his schedule will be filled.

A diamond in a field of poop

Wow. I really love this man. Hikari is one of the few bastions of real harem novels. Sure, there a few moments that kinda slow things down, but overall, this is such an amazing book. No, an amazing series. I really love that Hikari is willing to stick to his guns and keep Sol as Sol. A masculine king, that is working towards becoming a god, to save everything he loves. This book lacks spicy moments, but that's ok. Even though I really enjoy the spicy moments. I'm tired of seeing people whine about sex scenes, saying that sex should move the plot forward like what?!? Sex should never be used as a plot device. No one has sex to move their life forward. You have sex to either procreate, or have fun. That's it. Book 5 is filled with intrigue, and tense moments, but also filled with Sol kicking ass, due to all his hard work paying off. And I love it. I'm tired of this weak mc nice guy compliments his way through the entire journey and wins. It's honestly pathetic. And I hate how this genre is being flooded with mcs like this. Sol remains his stoic firm bad ass as he has been. I love that he controls his environment the best he can. I love that Sol is masculine, and actually protects his loved ones. It's so refreshing. I love that Sol never becomes a cuck in his own harem. In fact, I really am happy that this book is an actual harem book, as well as the other components. Too many authors confusing harem, with polyamory. But not this series. The harem remains a harem. The girls don't date each other, don't let anyone but Sol pleasure them, and it's just the best. But the girls remain strong and excellent characters themselves. I wish those other authors would take notes. I highly recommend this series to anyone who wants a good harem series, but also a heros journey. If you want a weak nice guy cuck mc, stay away. Hikari once again proves, that being a masculine hero is ok. That writing a real harem novel, is ok. Cannot wait for the other books. This series is one of the few last good harem books in this genre.

dissapointing that there were no sex scenes. i was hoping you would 1 up the orgy scene from last book, but to have none at all is incredibly dissapointing.

zero spicy scenes!

there are two reasons I liked this series. an outstanding fantasy adventure and the smutt. 50% of this equation is missing from this book. I'll be checking the reviews on the next book before I get it. if it’s also lacking then I will not be continuing with this series.
