About this listen

Everything begins.

Everything ends.

Sometimes, it has to end, before it begins.

In the course of a year, I have had my heart broken, re-forged, only to be shattered again. The tears won’t come. Not anymore. No more looking back. No more asking what if.

Coop wants me to let myself feel it. Jake wants to distract me. Archie wants to put the world at my feet. Ian wants me to not make choices, until I’m ready. I’ve got family ready to catch me, but I refuse to fall.

No more waiting.

No more holding my breath.

The future is now.

We have a chance to forge the path we want, and I’m all in.

So why does it feel like I’m running away?

Please note: This is a reverse harem, and the author suggests you always read the forward in her books. Contains some bullying elements, mature situations, violence, and it is recommended for 17+. This is the 10th book in a series, and the story will continue through future books.

Songs and Sweethearts

This wasn’t my favorite of the series, but it did show a lot of character growth for Frankie. Narration awesome!!

In love with the series

While I usually stay far away from series with 10+ books, this series has me invested from the start. The author does such a great job keeping me drawn to the plot and characters. What really does it for me? There's different subplots that naturally unfold and are solved throughout the series, in such a way where it never feels like it's too much. It also doesn't start dragging, which makes this series such a hit for me. There aren't many where I feel like the plot has just that perfect pace and where I could never get bored with the progress and characters. This is just beautifully written and despite being fiction it feels very realistic. The characters feel real, not like your average caricatures you see all too often in romance.

All of the above is elevated by the narration. The voice actors really make the ultimate connection with the characters and I am sure I will be revisiting these audiobooks at least once a year.

Sad ending

This book deals with grief, loss, anger, acceptance Frankie and her boys Coop, Ian, Archie, and Jake are more together than ever and the addition of Rachel to the living situation is a plus. Love this series and characters.
