Publisher's summary

Just because you know and have experienced grace does not mean you fully understand it. This book will help you experience the freedom found in knowing just how fully God is committed to loving you.

Rediscover the missing piece in what today's Christians believe about the Christian life. As lead Pastor of one of America's biggest churches, John Lindell went on a personal quest for answers and discovered the true meaning behind God's grace, and when he came to see the full revelation of God's commitment to us, it changed his life forever.

In Soul Set Free, Lindell invites you on a life-changing journey through the Book of Romans. Learn to no longer view the gospel as anything less than a truth that sets your soul free.

The good news of the gospel can be summed up in three parts: Christ died for our sins, we are forgiven through faith in Christ, and heaven is our reward upon death. However, none of these parts cover what transpired when we were saved.

The gospel is even better than what we believe. It brings joy, but it's even better. It's forgiveness of sins, but it's even better. It's God sending His only Son, but it's even better.

Thought Provoking and Spirit Stirring

On my own personal journey of grace I've had quite a few revelations and questions. This book helped me immensely. Pastor John is an amazing teacher on grace and faith. I high recommend everyone read this book. Whether you're a Christian struggling or not, or a non-believer just curious about the workings of God, this book will open doors, provoke thought and give rest to the weary soul. God bless the Lindell family.

A must read for Christians

Understanding God’s grace is something that many people find hard to truly grasp. This book does an excellent job of showing the importance of living in God’s grace as a Christ follower.

Wonderful and faithful is the Lord

Having known John's ministry for over twenty five years, this faithful pastor and his wife are being blessed beyond measure with the unfathomable love of God. More than "a good read" it is a testament to the goodness of God.

Grace... sweet grace.

I’m a pastor. I preach grace regularly. I preach repentance regularly. I preach holiness regularly. I still needed to hear this. Thank you, Pastor John for your investment in thousands of folks who will read this book and for investing in me without even knowing.

It's OK

To me this book has a lot of knowledge a lot of scripture reference. However, it's more so of a piece of 1st person 3rd person stories sprinkled with metaphors. Then patched together with whole bunch of short sermons. Someone gave me the book I made it through the 1st 6 chapters I had to finish it on here him reading it to me helped My A.D.D just couldn't stay in the book.

Nice standard book

For someone who has grown up in the church, I found it to be a book of nice reminders and a few useful perspective ideas but nothing that was earth shattering for me. But recommended as a nice book for people looking to learn more about the gospel.
