This was slightly different to the other books in the series. I am glad the main character did not change her mind or couldn't make her mind up in who she loved. There is a love triangle but the main female character was steadyfast in who she wanted.
There is a twist in the end and a few funny moments too.
This is for adults due to certain suitations in the book.

A great adventure. The series definitely took a turn I didn't see. Can't wait to see the conclusion of the series. Great characters and unique story. I love the friendships and the mystery!

Book: Charming, Alaska is the perfect place to set an urban fantasy, and I totally adore both D'Raynged, with his vampire-slacker of simple needs lifestyle, and his roommate / best friend / possible live interest Chia Petit. Getting the aforementioned vamp in a different setting / century? Pure catnip. Bottom line: five stars. This was one wonderfully fun novel and definitely recommended. It had just what I wanted and was well written and with a great plot and great cast of characters.

Narration: clean, easy to understand and able to express emotions. That’s what I look for and this narration more than met that test.

at first, I was so confused about where this storyline was going. it's so different from the other books in tbe series but I have to say that I absolutely loved it (except for Hung). Great narration, loved the depth that this read/listen gave Chia and D. Good flow (there were a few parts in this listen that repeated) but this definitely has me wanting more!

My fourth read from author Calinda B & the fourth book in The Charming Shifter Mysteries. Well-written & enjoyable (246 pages & almost 8 hours of listening enjoyment); I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. I was impressed and enjoyed the southern drawl, vocal variety & inflections of the narrator, switching to a male narrator as the point of view of this story changed to D'Raynge was a nice touch on the author’s part. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Best book in the series so far

Loved It! D'Raynged got to love the name!! Is fun to listen about. His room mate Chia is also the town manager in charming Alaska. Plenty of excitement in this story I had a good laugh at some parts and felt bad for him in others. looking forward to listening to more of this series. definitely kept my interest Loved the Narrator great voice nice and clear to understand made for good listening

My review is that this next book in the series is strange. The way it started as well as the many twists it took to get to the end. Chia has two men in love with her but she only loves one and has not been deceptive about it. But the other can't control his feelings and this causes some problems not the least of which is jealousy and twisting the knife in a wound. The ending was a surprise. The narrator was a good addition to the story.

What a rush! This story kept me on my toes unlike any of the rest. We’ve all watched Hung try to control things and failing epicly. D’Raynged has been a major staple to the story but things have been hard with her being hung up on Hung. With this story, we learn a lot more information and find out how things end with Red and all these confusing feelings that’s been going on. I cannot wait to see how her magic progresses and how these two make out in their relationship. I loved this series and I’m looking forward to more from the series. The narrator for this book really brought out D’s personality and made me feel like he’s the one actually telling the story. Loved him!!!

I enjoyed this book better than the last; over all it seems to be a good series. (I need to definitely go back and listen/ or read the first two books.
