Savannah

I'm the one who broke up the golden couple - the woman people still whisper about, point at, and give dirty looks to.

Did I sleep with the prom king? No. Did I sleep with the town's golden boy on vacation from college? Yes.

Did I believe that he was going to marry me? Wholeheartedly.

Did he? Not even close. He got engaged right in front of me, and then his father threw $200 at me and told me to take the trash out.

So I raised my son in a town where people love him because they think that his father is the sheriff. It was going great; everything was working out...until my lie got out.

Beau

I was getting ready to take over the mayoral office from my father, who was my hero.

But then I heard the secret he hoped would stay buried forever. My brother has a son - and not just any son, but a son with the woman who was my best friend.

The woman I secretly have loved from the moment she stood up to me and broke my nose in kindergarten.

I need to protect her, and in order to do that, we need to get married. Too bad her nightmare is my dream come true.

Great story

I absolutely loved this story. What a great addition to the series. Narrators were awesome, but what just is amazing to me is how Natasha brings her into the series in the beginning and you hate her but then, by her story in the third book, she redeemed herself, and I think that is so cool. I was not sure that I would like her, but the way she was written there is no doubt she’s one of my favorites.

Sweet best friends to lovers story

8 yrs ago Savannah made a choice that had life altering consequences for several ppl; now years later she is still dealing with the aftermath. One person of the few ppl who has stuck with her is now the mayor of their small town...Beau...her best friend...the man that she has loved forever. Unbeknownst to Savannah, Beau feels the same way but will he be able to stand up to his family for her? Sweet story of two best friends who are totally oblivious to each other’s feelings; a stalker; and an 8yo who just goes with the flow. We catch up with other characters from previous stories as well. I must say that, after disliking Savannah’s character from book 1...because let’s face it, she was selfish...it took me a while to warm up to her. Still not a total fan but I love Beau! Enjoyable story and series.

Fantastic!

This sweet, best friends to lovers romance is well written & narrated beautifully. Off the charts chemistry and burn you to the ground feels. This book will grab your heart, squeeze and not let go. It hit me straight in my feels and had me laughing, crying, mad, and swooning all at the same time. Brian Palino & Morais Almeida are amazing narrators and do a wonderful job portraying & bringing the characters to life. Highly recommend listening to this entire series.

Great Story

But I will have to say that I very much dislike Savanah. She ruined Callie life and never care I bit then whined that she wasn't treated right. Carman...100 perfect. She should of left town before she destory so many people's lives. That you will see in book one

Beau

A beautiful love story. Once these two admitted their feelings, the heat turned way up.

Disappointing

I’m sorry this book is fine in that it is well written. But Savannah’s lack of self awareness on how much her lies have impacted and hurt others throughout this series is ridiculous. I was hoping she would make things right in this book, but it’s more of her playing the victim.

I’m sorry…

I tried…I really did…but I can’t enjoy this book. Savannah is a very selfish person. She ruined so many lives and yet everybody is worried about how she feels and how bad everybody is treating her. How about the fact that she ruined multiple lives with her lies and pleas. How about the couple that was completely in love and she made her think he cheated on her. How about the fact that the same woman was able to move past that but still has to be reminded of the fact that her (dumbass) husband still calls that child his son. I’m sorry I just couldn’t get into this book. She nor Jacob are redeemable characters. (Book 2 was good tho)
