Hell no
So I’m trying to improve my khmer. My family is all khmer, and a lot of them don’t speak English, so it’s hard to communicate at times, since I was raised in America, and they, in Cambodia.
So I thought this would help, but she speaks way way too fast. It doesn’t feel like the purpose of this is to teach anyone anything. She literally rushes through everything and doesn’t even really repeat them. It’s like she just reads off a list of vocal with no pause between them and is like ok cool got it? Next chapter ! Its like she is rushing to finish each chapter so she can can say “i finished an audio book !” And then can make money on it.
I mean she has a lot of vocabulary in here, but this is not a good audio book for learning anything, and i have a few other audio books for lanaguage learning, and they are all great, so I was very surprised at how bad this was .
I’ll have better luck just being tutored by my friends lol.

A Good Guide for Learning Khmer
This audiobook is very helpful. However, it could have been a lot more helpful if the speaker provided some opportunities for the listener to repeat after her, or if the speaker took the time to a least repeat the Khmer words and phrases at least two times before proceeding to the next ones.
