About this listen
According to the Education Endowment Fountain, in September 2020, 20-25 percent of children starting school needed help with language skills compared with the previous year.
Are you worried that your child isn’t showing the typical social interaction skills for their age? Are you waiting for a referral and frustrated there isn’t more you can do? Is your child receiving speech and language therapy, but do you want to do more for them?
According to Mencap, there are approximately 351,000 children in the UK with a learning disability. In the US, 17 percent of children have delays in physical, learning, language, or behavior development. It doesn’t stop there. Worldwide, there are around 18.5 million people with speech, voice, or language disorders! If you yourself don’t have or never have had a speech and language delay or disorder, it’s nearly impossible to understand what your little one is going through.
Logically, the first step is to start the diagnosis process to get professional help, but trust me, as a speech and language therapist, the waiting list is horrendous and does nothing to help with the essential early intervention that children need. So, as well as your job, your other children, the cleaning, the shopping, the homework, the washing, the ironing, the uniforms, the afterschool activities, oh, and the cooking, you now have to research how to help your children with their speech, language, and social interaction skills!
In Speech Therapy Games, you will discover:
- 137 games and activities that require everyday objects you have at home—or just your time
- Eight age-appropriate checklists to know that your child is on the right track
- Amazing insights into leading authorities and the latest research in the field of early and social interactions
- Recipes to create with your little one—from biscuits to face paint
- Fifteen social stories that you can adapt to help your child from going to the dentist to making friends—plus a free comic strip conversation to inspire you!
What if one book could take just a fraction of that pressure off you?
In Speech Therapy for Toddlers: Develop Phonological Awareness to Overcome Speech Articulation Difficulties using Fun Speech Sound-Related Cooking Recipes and Educational Activities, we have lightened the load and you will discover:
- Eighty-one recipes from sweets to savories from all over the world and with ingredients at hand!
- Recipes that have been specifically created to develop speech sounds for every child
- 107 games and activities related to speech sounds to reinforce the sound they have learnt in the recipe.
- Yoga and exercises to help children stay active as well as healthy habits and safety advice
How do you know if this book will be appropriate for your child’s age? We are breaking away from the dangerous habit of labelling children and comparing them to children in the same age group. Your child is unique.
PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the accompanying PDF will be available in your Audible Library along with the audio.

Very helpful to me
My youngest son, who is 7 years old. He has not shown a strong desire to express himself since he was young, and he always likes to stay quietly in his corner. He also did not show much interest in socializing with his peers. It was 2 years ago that I realized that I might need to intervene and guide him to help him improve his speech, language and social interaction skills. This book saved me from having to go through a lot of complicated information and included everything I needed in one book. The book presents many games and even some recipes for dessert making that the family can participate in together. I think this book is practical and highly recommend it.

Such a great bundle!
Not only did this bundle have great useful information, but it was also interesting to read. My son has delayed speech and I have done research on ways to help him. But a lot of the resources I have found are very dry and boring to read. They may have good information, but it takes me forever to get through it because it’s so dry. But these books were not like that. They were both very informative and easy to listen to. I highly recommend it for any other parents of children with speech delays!

Excellent content!
This audiobook will provide you with very important information you will need to help your toddler develop their pronounciation and vocabulary. When you get older and classmates tease you because of how you speak, you lose confidence and prefer not to speak as much. This can prevent your kids from becoming who they can truly become, which is why this book is key to preparing your kids through speech therapy by playing games. Great book!

Best start for our children
As an educator, I am well aware of the growing need for language and developmental tools to assists young children. Unfortunately, once they reach the classroom, it is often a long path of recovery to bring students up to their level and help them reach their full potential. This speech therapy bundle is amazing as it is easy to use and seems to promote highly effective and evidence-based learning strategies. It is packed with useful phonic work, as well as vocabulary and speech enhancing learning activities that parents and carers can put to good use at home.

A Must-Have Resource for Parents:
As a parent of a toddler, I found "Speech Therapy for Toddlers" by Kids SLT Publications to be an incredibly helpful resource. This 2-in-1 compilation offers a variety of games and activities that can be used to develop early vocabulary and speech sound awareness in young children. The audiobook is well-narrated and easy to follow, with clear instructions on how to play each game and activity.
One thing I particularly appreciated about this audiobook is how it breaks down the various stages of speech development and provides specific strategies for each stage. The authors clearly have a deep understanding of speech therapy and how children learn to communicate. I also liked how the games and activities are organized by age group, so parents can easily find appropriate options for their child.
Overall, I highly recommend "Speech Therapy for Toddlers" to any parents looking to support their child's speech development. The audiobook provides a wealth of useful information and practical strategies that can be easily implemented at home. With this resource, parents can feel empowered to help their child develop strong communication skills and set them up for success in the future.

Easy to Follow
This is a great bundle of books. When you hear speech therapy you think better leave that to the professionals. But this book made sense to myself, an average parent with no background in the matter. I'm simply trying to help my kiddo get ahead in life and improve his vocabulary.
We loved all the activities...137 in fact! And, most didn't need added tools, it was easy to find stuff we already had at home to help and some didn't need it at all.
Great way to help your child get ahead.
