Acerca de esta escucha

In an instant the world changed, and the Earth became the battlefield of the gods in their Great Game....

Thomas Grimshaw thought the hardest part of his day was going to be scaling a sheer wall in Yosemite on his climbing trip, but the inscrutable gods had other plans. In a flash, they terraformed the planet and imposed the rules of the Great Game.

Why Earth? Why do the gods compete against each other? Do the human ‘players’ have free will, or are they mere pawns? Why was he given a special class option to select from? Thomas will discover these mysteries in time, but for now simply surviving is critical. Luckily, the Spellfletcher class, an arcane arrowsmith, is built for survival in a harsh world.

With great danger comes great rewards, and surviving can become thriving in this new world. Thomas might just discover that the Great Game is one that he can win.

honestly it's this authors best book so far. My only issue with it is the MC is a bit of an idiot. His choices for upgrades really make no sense for the most part. if it wasn't for the author controlling the story and directing the fights his choices would be ridiculous. He's always running low on mana but keeps skipping the perk that would give him mana. He wants a hard hitting AOE perk he chooses the second best instead of the first. He sits around at the beginning of every fight over analyzing everything instead of just scanning and attacking to maintain the element of surprise when outnumbered. This strategy has almost killed him several times already. His constant whining about i want answers is ridiculous. They are gods, they don't owe you crap. either accept what is like you did in the world before and move on like why doesn't matter or just dwell on it and keep distracting yourself when you need to be focused. He goes into the wilderness like he's strolling down the street. His bow on his back instead of ready in his hand. how stupid is that? it's almost killed him several times as well, but he keeps doing it. he's supposed to be smart and he gives advice to others and gets praised by the goddess for his intelligence but hasn't learned when outside of the town keep your weapons at the ready. he doesn't learn from his own mistakes. then there's the fact he's an archer but for some reason in the most dangerous fights he decides to use a knife or an ax to start it off knowing he can't switch up in the middle of the fight. stupid. But the story is great l, well written in every other way. Just a slightly annoying MC.

Great story, but
