Welcome to the dark world of Grimm, where the villains are as wicked as their desires.
Aura was always destined to become the Starnight Prince’s bride following her twenty-first birthday. Now that the day has arrived, she looks forward to wedded bliss—and their first night together as husband and wife.
That is, until the savage dragon king from another court steals Aura away before the ceremony.
Hellbent on revenge, the King of Sin has been making careful plans to ruin the Starnight Prince. For years, he used lustful dalliances to battle his rage and bide his time. With Aura in his possession—the key to his vengeance—he’ll use her however he sees fit.
But whenever Aura is near, the King of Sin wants nothing more than to unlock her inner desires, make her crave his touch and long for the pleasure only he can give.
No matter the sin. No matter what is to become of her.
Spindle of Sin is a new take on Sleeping Beauty and the first book in a standalone series of spicy dark fairy tale retellings where the villain gets the girl in the end. Each delicious tale can be listened to in any order and contains fierce females, morally gray males, epic stories, and scorching romance. Perfect for fans of Sarah J. Maas, Laura Thalassa, Raven Kennedy, and Jennifer L. Armentrout.

Lexi Evans and Logan Anare are the dream team of love and lust. So when I saw their name on a fairy tale retelling and duet style at that, I was pulled in like a spell had been cast.
“Sleeping Beauty” has always been admired to me, I feeling it doesn’t get the love it deserves often.
Aura (love the name) is going to be wed to a nearby prince, whom she loves and this union will help their families strength.
But, our golden hair maiden is kidnapped by a black dragon and pricked with an enchanted spinning wheel, binding her to her captor’s kingdom.
Oh, did I mention the black dragon is a shifter, a king, named Rush, AKA The King of Sin, and Aura is part of a revenge plot?
Look at all these tantalizing threads dangling down!
The writing is lush, the plot flowing silkily, the characters headstrong in the best ways, the mystery and build up to reveals embedding in your body along with the characters, and the slow burn clinging to you like the scent of dragon smoke.
This story is richly dark like chocolate (or a raspberry tart,) with speckles of shining treasures everyone that would make any dragon happy.
You don’t want to sleep on this one!
Deliciously Sinful, Richly Dark, and Overly Enchanting:
