Great For Parents of Young Athlethes!
As a parent of a competitive young athlete, I’ve often struggled with finding the right balance between encouragement and pressure. This book gave me the tools I needed to help my child build confidence, stay motivated, and handle setbacks without feeling overwhelmed. I appreciated the section on emotional regulation as I never realized how much my reactions could impact my child’s mindset on and off the field. Since applying some of the strategies, I’ve noticed a huge difference in how my child approaches challenges, both in sports and in daily life. If you want to support your young athlete’s growth in a positive way, you'll find this book very helpful

Great book!
I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook. It has great tips for keeping sports enjoyable for your young athlete and yourself. Having three kids myself, I found this book relatable and very helpful. Becoming an athlete teaches life skills alongside of sports skills, this book helps those lessons be positive ones. I would highly recommend this book to parents who have young children who will be starting sports soon but it’s also still a great read if your child has already started their sports journey.

Easy to understand and implement
Great read! The examples given were very relatable and gave an interesting perspective on young athletes in sports. I enjoyed the way the book tied sports as a young athlete to important life skills and lessons that help them thrive later in life. Sports can be great memories for parents and kids or memories kids wish they could forget. This book helps ensure the experience is a positive one for both parents and their athletes.
