Publisher's summary

Where are the other starwhals? The question haunts Clarity, echoing in her dreams.

The cyborg starwhal whom Clarity and her crew inhabit has become more than a spaceship or home to them. She's their friend. But while Clarity and crew are filling their starwhal's belly with a gengineered garden, the rest of the pod is still held captive by the Aether Gaia scientists who tinker with and experiment upon them like lab animals.

The all-powerful AI, Wisper, who stretches across star-systems - inhabiting computers on every space station Clarity has visited - promised to free the other starwhals. But either she's broken her promise, or something worse has gone wrong.

Clarity and her crew must rescue the starwhals, hoping it will it cure their own beloved starwhal, who has grown sick with worry.

Or is she sick with something else?

Don't miss the final installment in the epic Entangled Universe trilogy!

Definitely a must for all the cool aliens!

I loved Starwhal in Flight, the conclusion to the Entangled Universe trilogy! This series was my first encounter with Mary E Lowd's writing, but I guarantee it won't be my last! This trilogy is something you're definitely gonna want to add to your library! It has plenty of pop cultural references, edge-of-your-seat-action, and there's so dang many amazing characters... all of 'em a part of Clarity's extended family, and you need to meet every one of them!  Clarity learns that your family is who/what you make/choose, and not necessarily who you're related too!
Cassie (a cyborg Starwhal, and also Clarity's Spaceship) is now a part of the family... and Cassie's in trouble! She's been hiding what she thought was a minor illness, but the true nature of her ailment is only discovered after she's reunited with her pod of Starwhals. After that it's a desperate attempt to find a cure to stop a pandemic before people and starwhals alike, start dying! I'm not saying whether 2020 had any affect on the outcome of the book, as Mary E Lowd wrote the 3rd book in this fictional universe, but you'll have to agree that it seems too coincidental to not be!
Sierra Kline did an excellent job narrating this book, I actually waited an extra month for the Audio books release before I put it in my library... and it was well worth waiting for!
