When Shin-Sho has a problem, EETs are the answer.

Zilfaquir is having a bad day. Shin-Sho Corporation dispatched his emergency engineering team (EET) to the remote ice planet, Xiao 2, to investigate a communications blackout. I loved the derelict saga but this was nothing like that. It has a good foundation but seemed rushed and difficult for me to follow.

I really like the story concept, but jeez thep narration is killing me. Iam half way through & will stick it out because I love Space Horror, but someone please get the narrator a "Cup of "Wake Me Up"!.

I very much enjoyed this! It honestly reminded me a ton of dead space. Especially when they started calling the thing that was infecting people the artifact

It was basically Dead Space (video game), just not as interesting or scary sadly.

Overall I enjoyed the story. As for the narration I felt it was flat. If it weren’t for the sound effects it would have been dull.
It was a shame the main characters were eliminated because I would have liked a series involving EETS.
Good book overall. 5 stars.

A lot of useless details about nonexistent tech. Not much in the way of action, cut one scene of guy in over explained tech suit fight a mutant, rinse wash repeat, and that’s the book. The performance is amateurish. I made it through thinking it was all leading somewhere, but no…
