Natalie Queiroz was eight months pregnant when she was stabbed by her partner in the most vicious attack imaginable.

Still Standing is the story of one life-shattering event - what came before that fateful day, what happened on it and how one woman and her baby survived to rebuild and heal together after it. Honestly had a hard time turning it off! The reader did an excellent job keeping me on the edge of my seat wanting to hear more. A very tragic true story with a most triumphant ending. I hope Natalie and her girls are continuing to heal and grow closer -will always be thinking of them as the book made me feel so connected. Loved it!

It was so hard to stop listening. had me in tears a few times. domestic violence is a terrible thing to live with. I can't imagine her pain when having a daughter from the man that tried to kill them both. you are a hero Natalie

If your listening on audible and live in the US, turn the speed down to .09. Otherwise the book was gripping. I didn’t want to stop listening to it. I made excuses to leave the house so I could listen to more of it.

I’m from US so I didn’t hear about this story. Natalie you are such an amazing lady. Your perseverance is incredible! The way you wrote this book is so amazing. I am almost beyond words. Though I know I will never fully feel or understand how this experience has felt for her, she has managed to portray the pain and heartbreak so intensely. I listened almost from start to finish, sometimes nauseous, my jaw dropping. My heart just aches for her and her girls. From the bottom of my heart I hope they find their happiness. I only wish Bob was never to see the light of day again.
