I picked up this audiobook on a whim, I've never contemplated stoicism and it's place (or absence) in my life. If I'm being completely honest, I may not have understood what exactly stoicism really meant. quite a self-help guide, it's more of a philosophy audiobook with tools readers can use the to unlock the keys of stoicism with. Broken into three parts, the first part was very helpful in breaking down the foundations and history of stoicism to get to its very essence, the second part was an emotional "tool kit," and the third part is more practical advice on how exactly to cultivate positivity, practice emotional resilience and applying the lessons of stoicism into your life to change your mind set and outlook on things you can't control. I learned a great deal and I was very pleasantly surprised.

Impressive! This is really just an excellent book describing how to apply Stoic philosophy to modern life. It's well written, clearly articulated, convincing and ultimately practical. This does seem like a good way to live your life. I would highly recommend this book!

This Stoicism Book is really great, I have this on my house and I already read this. On my own opinion, The lessons and tips were very effective for me, this philosophy book have gave me ideas how should I overcome problems and become more effective and efficient in this life. It was also explained to me what Stoicism is. It is Very informative and well-detailed.

This audiobook is a foundational starting point to begin your Stoic journey. The audiobook ties in the historical foundation of Stoic philosophy with its modern day practical application.

The best introduction on Stoicism I've listen so far. Very good listen, precise, understandable. It wasn't overwhelming and offered really good and really practical advice that is easy to implement.

This Stoicism book is extremely instructive, it has an incredible content.We will take in the basics of utilizing Stoicism in our day by day life and how this ancient logic will function to influence us to feel more joyful.But i found little bit difficulty to understand some points.

Stoicism is an excellent practice to adopt but I would not recommend this book to learn more about it unfortunately. The writing was clunky and difficult to get through. Instead of the parody I've seen in SNL, I now understand affirmations as more of a way to prepare future responses to trying situations.

For the novice, this is an excellent audiobook and an introduction in this approach to life. Thankfully the author provides an introduction to stoicism with a nice historical overview and how stoicism as today came about. This I found very helpful and also explains components of stoicism, such as a reliance on virtue, but also including happiness.The author does a good job of bringing up the tenets and encouraging the reader to think of examples in their own life or among their friends, when these tenets were adhered to. This makes it clear to the lestener that stoicism can easily be incorporated into every day life and also makes the lestener understand their own set of virtues that works for them and that can be and should be the basis for their approach to life.

Very helpful audiobook. It breaks down the Philosophy of Stoicism beautifully into easy to digest but comprehensive pieces. It also provides wonderful incite and ways to practice what you learn.
