perfect ending to the stone series

Loved it even though Lexie made me mad a few times. As the story went on I understood her actions a bit more. Great story. Yes I would listen to it again.

Loved it!

As the third book in the Stone Brothers series this story was just what I needed. Kyle is the youngest Stone brother and a hard working and totally upstanding second year resident who finds himself falling for his patient. Lexi is a quiet pregnant woman with way too many secrets falling for her doctor. I love seeing the characters from the Mitchell Sisters series as well as the other Stone brothers and their wives showing up throughout this book as well. Without giving spoilers just beware that there may be triggers including abuse, rape, and miscarriage because a significant part of the book takes place in the hospital following Kyle and what he deals with as a resident. This is not a typical dual narration as Jason Clark brilliantly takes on part one as Kyle’s POV and then Erin Mallon masterfully picks up in part two for Lexi’s POV. All together though I loved it and consider it a five-star listen.

Worth reading

Yes there is sex, but the best part is the story that makes you want to keep reading......

Good but...

My review would be better if it weren’t for the first half of this novel. Nothing happened that move the plot for the first five or six chapters and over five hours of audio could’ve been wrapped up in an hour. I wasn’t excited about this book at all until the second half the novel. The second half was great and the narration was excellent!

Dr. Stone is just what the doctor ordered!

I loved all three Stone brothers. I fell hard for Dr. Stone. It isn't too often that there is a swoony hero that comes from money and has a heart bigger than his bank account. He may be a bit cocky, but is a big softy underneath. Kyle is a second year resident who has a good thing going with Gina, a fellow resident...friends with benefits, neither of them looking for more. And then Kyle meets Elizabeth. A very pregnant, very mysterious girl down on her luck. This isn't a fast HEA book. This book has substance. It's a bit of a slow burn. Kyle realizes friends with benefits isn't what he wants and friends to lovers comes home with the WIN! Beautifully narrated by Erin Mallon and Jason Clarke!

A great conflict book as our society deteriorates dehumanizing the vulnerable

Great character development! Wonderful research into a true need of a mother that protects her child the only way our society allows especially from a villain who has authority in our society. No he-mans no Hercules to save the day. Won’t spoil the ending. Enjoy reading this it is a keeper

STONE VOWS

THIS WAS ONE EXCELLANT STORY. KYLE STONE THE YOUNGEST OF THE 3 STONE BROTHERS WAS STUDYING TO BECOME A DOCTOR WHEN HE MET AND FELL IN LOVE WITH ELIZABETH SMITH. ELIZABETH WAS SITTINF OUTSIDE THE EMERGENCY ROOM WHEN KYLE ASKED HER IF ANYTHING WAS WRONG AS HE NOTICE SHE WAS PREGNANT AND WAS CONCERNED CAUSE SHE HADN'T COME INSIDE THE HOSPITAL. SHE HAD TOLD KYLE SHE HAD STARTED BLEEDING AND WAS AFRAID SOMETHING WAS WRONG WITH HER BABY. KYLE HAD ASKED HER TO COME IN SO HE COULD EXAMINE HER. AFTER THE EXAMINATION WAS DONE KYLE HAD DISCOVED ELIZABETH'S PREGNANCY WAS A DANGEROUS ONE BUT AT THE TIME IF SHE FOLLOWED ORDERS TO STAY OFF HER FEET AND TAKE IT EASY SHE WOULD BE OKAY SO HE SENT HER HOME. JASON CLARKE AND ERIN MALLON NARRATED AL 3 BOOKS AND DID A FANTASTIC JOB ON ALL THREE BOOKS. SO THEIR PERFORMANCE ON THIS LAST BOOK WAS JUST AS GREAT AS THE FIRST TWO.. THERE WAS SOME WAS SOME REALLY SAD TEAR JERKING PARTS IN THIS STORY SO YOU BETTER GET YOU SOME TISSUES AND KEEP THEM HANDY AS THE STORY PROGRESSES YOU'RE GONNA NEED THEM.. ELIZABETH WAS PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY ABUSED BY HER HUSBAND AND FATHER OF HER BABY. KYLE COULDN'T COMMIT HIMSELF TO ELIZABETH FULLY SINCE SHE WAS STILL MARRIED TO HER HUSBAND AND SHE WAS AFRAID TO COME IN CONTACT WITH HIM FOR FEAR HE MIGHT TAKE HER BABY FROM HER. SO HER LIFE WAS LEFT PRETTY MUCH IN LIMBO BECAUSE OF HER SITUATION WITH HER HUSBAND.

Trigger warning.

Without giving the story away. You must know he’s a resident and will work with OB patients. The good and the sad. Overall it was a good story. But the first half I found myself reliving my nightmare.
