About this listen

Storm

I hate myself more than she could ever hate me.

The day I betrayed the love of my life was the day I lived up to every messed-up thing my mother predicted.

But I'm tired of being broken. I'm tired of life not being worth living.

I never thought I'd get a chance to make amends, but here I am, ready to earn my woman's love back.

My road to recovery is ugly, and my road to redemption will be hard, but there is no Storm without his Keira.

It's time I prove that to her.

Storm is a standalone in A Dark & Dirty Sinners' MC Series.

Emotional, but worth it!

This book does have cheating, which is usually a hard stop for me. However, I decided to read it after many recommendations and reading other books in the series. This story is heartbreaking, disturbing, and be sure to read the author’s trigger warnings.

Storm’s betrayal is upsetting. But the groveling that Storm does to win back his wife is overwhelming. I enjoyed the action and suspense. I liked the relationships between the many characters. The ending was well done.

The narration was fabulous and really added to the story.

Emotional and honest

Serena Akeroyd has the courage to write the story after the HEA. The grueling but enduring work that is a long term relationship, marriage, parenthood. She is honest, insightful and sensitive. Its high time a romance author was brave enough to talk about cheating and healing. Jason Clarke and Stella Hunter brought their best performances to this narration. Absolutely necessary listening

OMG BEST STORY!

I was a little annoyed with Kiera but then again when they explained her upbringing it made sense why she was the way she was and also she had abandonment issues. Asher on the other hand had acceptance issues and he thought he wasn't good enough. the story was great made me cry near the end 😢 omg thats unconditional love. That's a true soul mate for sure the book was great! can't wait for Zions story, did she get together with Rain. I'm wondering is there a story about Rene and Bear?

So very Amazing

This story touched my heart. If your not a recovering addict you really can't understand the thoughts and feelings of one. I can't even tell you how much this book has helped in my recovery process. Thank you Serena for having the courage to publish this book.

Bring tissues

Storm was VP but he was promoted to President at another chapter of the MC in another state. He also has a past and trying to keep the demons at bay nearly destroyed him. All he wants to do is get back with the love of his life after he messed up.
Keira is Storm’s wife. She fell instantly in love with Storm the first time she saw him when she was in high school. She didn’t want to live the same life as her parents where her dad did whatever and whoever he wanted. When she heard that Storm had cheated she left him.
Now Storm is trying to do everything to get Keira and his kid back.
This story has a lot of triggers so please read them first and this book does not have to be read to continue the Sinners story it only enhances the story. Be forewarned bring your tissues, a blanket, wine and something to snack on when you read this story. I haven’t cried so much reading a story in a long time and never while reading a MC book. Serena nearly killed me.

Storm's Redemption

I honestly was anxiously waiting for this book as I knew Serena was going to have Storm make amends and clarify our conceptions of him. I love how Keira grew and loved hearing Keira and Storm grow together. I wish she would branch out with an Ohio chapter series. this deals with dark and intense subjects but Storm's story was worth the wait

WTF

I almost didn’t get this one. Storm’s was never interesting to me and Keira was so annoying in every book…but I took the plunge since I was waiting for Filthy Disciple to come out. Nothing could have prepared me for this. The love Storm has for Keira is disgustingly pure. I cried, I laughed, I yelled at the speakers because I couldn’t take anymore anguish. Hands down the best book of the series.

Thank you Serena. I know what it took to put this out and it was a risk. This is truly a standalone, but it puts the other books to shame. My 3rd 5 star read of 2023.

All the feels

WOW, you do go through every emotion with this book. I couldn’t wait to get to this one. Every time I started the next one I was hoping it was Storm. I just wanted to see what happened with them. The writing is awesome. The narratives are awesome. Yes it was sad but it was still a really awesome book.

Crying. Soo muchhh cryinggg!!!!

I truly don’t know how people could HATE storm through this series. We get it, cheating is terrible. Did you leave the first time? Proud of you. I WISH I would’ve had a man that would be strong enough to get his act together and take blame. Instead of the manipulation and gas lighting I stuck with for YEARS. (Yes, that was my bad) anyway, Storm (Asher) is the man I feel like we girlies wish we could find / have. Someone who always tried to put us & our needs / wants first. A family man. A man that loved us, literally, till his last breath. I cried numerous times. This book broke me & put my back together in every way. I wish I could read this book DAILY for the first time all over again. I’m glad someone talked the author into writing this. Because my goodness, did I fricken need it!!!!!!

Another Wow

This could have been a different book without Jason Clarke’s narration of Storm. He was Storm
