Informative and practical guide to health

Since my grandfather had a stroke, I have been looking for as many resources as possible to aid him in achieving the best possible recovery, strengthening his muscles, and of course, gaining increased mobility. Through doing this, I realised I had underestimated the importance of stretching, which can be so tricky to do without causing further injuries. This listen was wonderful in providing foundational information and guiding us step by step through the motions to increase our overall health through these simple static and dynamic stretching routines.

Wonderful resource!

I loved this book :)

Great for grandma who is starting to see some pain in her knee joints when walking and occasional general back pain. The exercises are simple yet effective and they don't require too much fitness to do. It's pretty spot on!

The narration is also great quality which keeps the engagement throughout the book.

Really appreciated this book!

Very Helpful

I actually listened to this audiobook along with my mother who is in her 60s. She has suffered from back pain for a couple of months now and the stretching exercises suggested are very helpful. After doing several she felt a difference. We also enjoyed the illustrations in the book to give us a better idea how to do them properly. Very very useful resource for seniors.

Great book!

My Mom loves this book! We both were shocked to know dozens of stretching available depending on your body's needs. The book was helpful as my Mom is suffering from stiff legs. I, myself, use this book too! As someone who is at a desk for most of the day, I start to feel the signs of back stiffness and rigidness. Highly recommended for all ages!

Love the step-by-step instructions

I love how specific this audiobook is. Our bodies change over time, and the needs of a 50-year-old are vastly different from a 30-year-old. And that's why I enjoyed this so much, It's well-researched, easy to understand, and the stretching instructions are really clear - love that narrator. This is a great audiobook.

Very interesting subject. Good narration.

This is a great audiobook.
I was expecting a helpful listen but this book was actually super-insightful. The tips on painless stretching were an eye-opener.
I had spent years avoiding stretching because of the pain it used to cause in certain degrees of movement. After incorporating these exercises, I found my body becoming more supple and pain-free. I now keep stretching every chance I get.
This book was very well written and super informative. I liked the way Robert starts off by educating the reader about our bodies and how the different muscles work and change as we age. The stretches are simple and easy to perform and I love that it only takes 10 minutes out of my day. I’m looking forward to a stronger healthier body as I continue with this stretching routine.
Listen to this book before you do your exercise routine.

Needed for all!

I gifted this book to my mother-in-law who has been suffering from sciatica since an accident last year. This book has been an excellent resource for her to navigate stretching and mobility work at home. The book is excellently structured so you can skip to the stretches you need. I think one thing I found really interesting was the first chapter on what happens to the body when it ages - I learned a few things! My mother-in-law has really seen the benefit of listening to this audiobook and I can see she feels more confident with her self-care since listening to this.

Really useful

We don’t like to admit it but as part of getting old, our mobility is affected. If you’re like me and want to stay mobile, this book is great. It is easy to understand and follow and gives some great advice on how you can remain flexible and keep your mobility through old age so you can keep up with the grandkids.
