This is a lovely read. The narrator is so convincing I actually cried listening to her tell the story. I hope to hear more from the author and PLEASE hire this voice again.

The actress who performed the book did a great job...EXCEPT her accents for two of the characters were ridiculously bad. The story was cute, although not as endearing as some other Beth Moran books. I'm glad I listened to it overall, but those bad accents kept making me cringe!

Loved it. Moran's interaction between characters brings smiles, laughter, happy and sad tears, sometimes righteous indignation for one or many characters. I have enjoyed her books so much I usually end up sleep depraved so I can get to the next few chapters. A good listen for aure.

I was really rooting for Cooper and Emma, and am upset he ended up with Bridget. However, I also love how all this time the love never ended and grew stronger.

When was the last time I laughed out loud and yes, even cried while reading/listening to a book?! This was a breath of fresh air and exactly what I needed.

The skilled performance in the audio version was enchanting. I will be looking for more books written by this author and performed by this reader.

This started as a nice read, but the cringy narration, particularly the mother’s accent made this book almost unbearable. The slime ball character never fessing up and being accountable for what he did and letting Bridget his “true love” take all the blame made me roll my eyes, and the two most selfish people in the book getting an undeserved happy ending was just annoying. Not a fan.

Some things felt a bit contrived…but it was a fine listen. The end wasn’t what I expected and was totally out of character for our main girl, but oh well. It’s not like I was that emotionally invested anyways! Also…I didn’t find our main man that Luke able?? Is it just me??

Performance was good but it took quite awhile to get the storyline going. The moms Italian accent was a little irritating (or maybe it was personality!).
