Editorial reviews

In the introduction of Tales of the Florida State Seminoles Sideline, there's an anecdote about Bobby Bowden giving an interview to a reporter after a victory while showering, completely nude. This nicely sets the tone for the funny, honest, and unfiltered firsthand accounts legendary coach Bowden provides in this collection of Seminole tales.

Wayne Edwards' straightforward yet enthusiastic delivery matches the tone of Bowden's stories perfectly, making for a listen as riveting as one of Bowden's signature locker room speeches.

Fantastic old stories

Love to hear stories from Bobby, would have preferred him narrating. Makes me want to head back to Doak!

Good primer for football season

The quality of the performance isn’t great but I really enjoyed some of the stories. Inspired me to search YouTube for some long forgotten videos of FSU greatness.

Unfortunately this was written around 2004-2005 so the “current day” talk ages like fine vinegar. I had just put The lost decade out of my mind and here it is again.

narrator is horrible

You can tell he knows nothing about football or Bobby. So it makes it tough to listen to as the message comes across as inauthentic and disjointed.
