Comfortable in her own skin.

What a sweet little listen. I found these characters charming. I loved that Josephina is comfortable in her skin. She and Frederick make a great couple even in their time.
This is a short story that details all the circumstances rather than a story of action. But very enjoyable.

The narrator is excellent. He doesn't perform the characters. He is just a reader of the book. 5 stars for him.

Entertaining

This story is super short but it is just an entertaining read, or in my case, listen. The audiobook was quite delightful narrated by Harry Frost. I'd heard good things about his work before but hadn't heard him myself until now. I agree. The narration was well done. It added to my enjoyment of the story.

Because the story is so short, one might say that there isn't a lot to it but I never felt like it was missing anything. It is just a short story. I felt I understood the character's personalities and so forth. It was just fun. I'm not sure where one goes on a fox hunt while living in the city but maybe on the outskirts of town or a country estate close to town? I didn't care though. I just enjoyed this story for what it was and it fully entertained me.

No sex, language or violence (there is discussion of a previous duel)

Taming The Lady

I enjoyed this short novella/audiobook very much, I just wish it was longer. The writing was well done, the plot was strong, and the characters were likeable, strong personalities. I think I got this from KU because I was attracted to the lovely cover, kiddos for that. I personally would like to see the author consider putting several of the novellas together in a boxed set or just expand the length. There is plenty of room, opportunity, to add in addition scenes to make it longer. I very much enjoyed the story and would have liked for it to be longer.😍 The narrator was new to me also, but did a wonderful job with the narration!

Audiobook Review: Taming the Lady – Daisy Landish

Story: 4.25/5 Stars! This is a cute, sweet, fast story that kept me entranced until the end. I was happy to have listened to this story, but I wished that it was a little longer. This is an almost instant love story with help of family and friends, I cannot wait for the next book!

Harry Frost's Narration: 4/5 Stars! His voice is good, but the first time I heard his rendition of Josephina, I giggled a little. It was a great little listen, and will listen to him again!

Clean sweet romance

I found Harry Frost had the voice to carry off this clean sweet historical romance. I very much enjoyed the cadence of his voice and the crispness of the audio quality. Both Frederick and Josephina have a little scandal attached to their names. Neither wants to marry for convenience.

I found this very quick listen to both engaging and entertaining. Meeting Frederick and Josephina alone with their assorted family was nice. To be so short is held my interest. I was vested in how the two would marry with two negative mothers.

A fun, captivating listen!

Sometimes, when I get into a reading funk, I want to listen to a quick, fun read to pull me out and this short, sweet listen did just that! The narrating was clear and the story line was magnificently created.

Josephina and Frederick were brought to live by a fabulous narrator, Harry Frost. His voice was so captivating and made the listening a fun experience. He kept me focused on their story and didn’t bore me.

This is a short listen, just an hour long, but it’s packed full of historical detail and beautifully chiseled characters that steal your heart. You’re instantly transported to the regency era and you don’t get let go! Becoming friends with Josephina and Frederick, watching the sparks fly between them, was so fun! Definitely a 4 star, highly recommended read!

Charming Regency Short Story

This was my first experience with Daisy Landish's work, and it was entertaining. I liked that the author brought the Regency era alive as she used some phrases from that time period, and then listed a glossary at the end of the tale with definitions. The characters were delightful, and I enjoyed their humorous antics. I'm looking forward to more of the author's stories. Harry Frost's narration was great, and his performance kept my attention. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Josephina and Frederick

Josephina and Frederick
This is a short, sweet, and cute story. With a bit more flushing out, it would do well as a longer novel. The story line and characters were interesting and kept my attention. Neither Josephine nor Fredrick do not want to marry for convenience or society dictates. They both have some scandal attached to their names, which also limits their chances with society. Both have interfering mamas. It would have been fun reading more about the mamas and their interactions and dramas as the romance developed. The narrator did a great job, and his voice matches up well to historical romances. I received a free copy of this audiobook and am voluntarily leaving my review.
