Publisher's summary

Love lurks around the corner...but it might be too dangerous to pursue.

Everything is just the way Maggie has always imagined it would be, with a new job and a new apartment in San Francisco and the best roommate anyone could ever want - her BFF. Everything is perfect...until her gaze catches the sexy as sin lead singer of the rock band that performs weekly at an elite nightclub, and suddenly, her whole world is turned upside down.

Cian is a heartthrob rock star - and a vampire. He's every woman's dream, except he enjoys his single life in San Francisco and has no desire to change....until he meets a human woman he can't resist.

The scent of Magdalena's blood has him completely undone, and he begins to question his felicitous existence when his desire for her grows out of control. A powerful temptation ignites a sizzling passion until a threat from Cian's past wreaks havoc on their lives. Will he be able to resist the temptation in order to save her life?

Tempted by a Vampire

Awesome Loved it. Definitely a series I want more of. The audio of this was way beyond what I expected. The dual voices is a great way to listen to it. This book kept me on the edge of my seat. Twist I never saw coming that kept me very intrigued.

Fantastic story made even better w/dual narration

I read Tempted by a Vampire a long time ago. I really enjoyed it and made sure to read the rest of the series. The main characters are very likable. They actually have a lot of substance to them-emotions, values, desires, compassion. All of this just adds another layer of quality to the story.

The book has changed some since I first read it. Like so many authors, knowing that sex sells, more has been added to please the audience. This is all well and good unless you are like me and listen to audiobooks while cleaning, doing yard work or trying to remove those last stubborn pounds. It works for me as I can easily fall into the pages of the story and live in bliss. It doesn't work so well for my teen son that I did not know could become so many shades of red. The sex must be good to embarrass him so much right???

There was a lot to like about the story. First of all LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. Who doesn't like San Francisco? As someone that spent much of her high school years roaming the streets it was great to visit from six hours away.

Secondly, who doesn't like a good vampire story. This one has a great group of good vampires. These are the guys you want to call friend and feel safe to hang out with, not worrying they will suck you dry. Making the story scary and a little creepy, okay a lot creepy, was the villianous sire that decided to come back into Kian and Lane's lives. Jules had me shivering and wanting to disinfect. She was just icky.

Best of all this was a romance, a forbidden romance. Maggie is new to San Francisco and a human. One look and Kian is hooked even if he shouldn't be. He can't stop himself and soon they are a couple. Don't forget the evil sire is back and she will stop at nothing, and I mean nothing, to get what she wants. She is one selfish lady. This is one HEA that the characters and the reader will really have to work for.

I hope you enjoy listening to Tempted by a Vampire. I know I will be listening to the rest of the series, embarrassing my son and loving every minute of the story.

lil better then ok

Over all the book with OK the narrator's did a really great job I felt the author, I don't even know how to put it but seemed a brand new.
There were a lot of things ever repeated the sex scenes were not detailed I can also say that the fighting scenes were at least a little better. I will try another book from her I did like the story line. I just felt like this book was missing something or repeating something or need it more words I really quite can't describe it.

Lovely

Lovely story and nicely written. The narrators did a great job and I enjoyed how the chapters alternated between the two main characters. I wouldn't have minded a little more conflict throughout the story.

CHEMISTRY IN EVERY SYLLABLE

TEMPTED BY A VAMPIRE is the first book in the Immortal Hearts of San Francisco series. They will need to be read in the order of release.

Oh! Em! Gee! Blown away!! I am in love with this series already. How soon does the next book release?

A little bit about me – I am a white-knuckle driver and this is why I listen to books. They keep me sane and provide safety for me and the other drivers. Not only did this book provide those services, I was smiling for the entire six hours and 26 minutes! I loved the story, the drama, the romance, and the choice of narrators.

The chemistry between Cian and Magdalena is steaming through every syllable of this reading. Their friends and their enemies are beautifully written and represented and I can’t wait to find out more about each of them. The dramas and twists are well thought out and kept me entertained from beginning to end.

On Facebook, many authors mention they listen to playlists as they write. I swear I could hear the songs playing while this book was being written and they were all classic and wonderful rock songs of San Francisco. Yes, I loved this too. (Days later, I'm still humming "when the lights go down in the city,...)

Narration: John York and Julie Walters are both wonderful narrators with clear voices and they give great drama. The topper is John York’s accent. Let’s face it, American girls are suckers for a British accent (or Aussie, or French, or…). I look forward to hearing from either one of these narrators again.

Note: While I received this book as a gifted audiobook copy, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

WHAT THE HUMANS DON'T KNOW.

These two narrators did a great job of all the voices, l was totally comfortable all the way throughout. However it was the story that really shone. These human girls were so easy to relate to and l enjoyed their excitement in the new city and the unexpected surprises that sideblinded me as well.
Can't say too much, no spoilers here but this is a fun book and sometimes quite a steamy romance.

Temptation in Many Forms

The storyline really pulls you in, along with the characters. Enough background brought into the story to give you a scope of the characters lives, which provides depth to who and what they are. The narrators were great, I love the two person reading as it brings so much more to the story. The unknown world of Vampires, Werewolves and Witches I can't wait to read more. I read this book before listening to the audible and it really enhanced it for me.
