Publisher's summary

Josie: I moved to Ferlaern to find a new life with my daughter. While the other women get all hot and bothered by the alien brutes we move in with, true love is not for me. But Zetar sure makes my face—and other parts of me—zing. And despite the fact that he irks the H-E-double-hockey-sticks out of me, he also makes me dream of what might be hanging out beneath his leather clothing. When I’m kidnapped by the duskhorde, Zetar comes charging to my rescue. He claims I'm his fated mate and that he's here to save me. The only problem? All his chest banging and sword slashing is turning me on.

Zetar: After losing my mate, I promised I'd never give my heart again.

Then I meet Josie. She’s fiery, brave, and she makes parts of me come alive. I can’t decide if I want to snarl at her or kiss her. Then she’s kidnapped by the vicious duskhorde. They think they can steal my fated mate, but they're about to taste my wrath. She's mine, and I'm going to claim her.

Tempted by an Alien Warlord is book four in the Fated Mates of the Ferlaern Warriors Series. This standalone romance has heat, aliens who look and act alien, a guaranteed happily ever after, no cheating, and no cliffhanger.

This series

This is the 4th in the series and i must say the best one so far. This book is full fun, adventure and romance. The roller coaster ride of this book starts right from the beginning and doesn't stop.

Another One For Ava Ross

This fourth book in this series did not disappoint. Just like the others, great character development and excellent storyline. Can’t wait to begin book 5.

Taken by the duskhorde!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: ❤️💙💚💛
Steam: 🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙
World building: 🌏🌍🌏🌏
Character development: 😠☺️😋😉
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙🎙
Narration Type: Dual Narration

The heroine: Josie - she is a nurse who has a thirteen year old daughter, living on an alien planet. After her husband died, she decided to join the program where females from earth can go to an alien planet an live with the male aliens in hopes of finding love. Since most of the men of earth died from a virus and most of the ferlaern women also died, it seemed to be a good chance for both races.

The Heroes: Zatar - he lost his wife and child from the same virus that killed the men of earth. His wife made him promise to only ever love her, so he felt guilty when he started having feelings for Josie. However, when Josie goes missing, he can only think of finding her and saving her.

The Story: Someone from the village was a traitor and sold Josie to the duskhorde. The dusklin were large hairy beasts with a single horn coming from the center of their head. They didn’t wear translators so couldn’t understand the ferlaern or the females from earth. The duskhorde got both Josie and Zatar and brought them through the pass to the mountains. Josie was to be the bride of the leader and Zatar was to be the feast for their wedding.

I liked this story about the two main characters being kidnapped by an alien threat. They had to try to rescue themselves and seemed to get caught every time. Josie was a good character, though I hated the fact that her age was mentioned a few times. Like 38 is so old. Well, maybe it is for a romantic lead character, but in real life it is still pretty young from my point of view.

This book is told in dual points of view via dual narration and was narrated by Stephen Dexter and Felicity Munroe. I love Stephen’s deep but soft voice and Felicity has a great voice and shows a lot of emotions through her voice. They both did a terrific job on this book and the whole series so far.
