About this listen
Texas humorist Jim Williams talks about the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. If you don't like "God Talk", this is probably not the steps set for you. Lots of funny stories to laugh along with. Much of the humor is based in coming from Southern Baptist culture and finding sobriety in Alcoholics Anonymous. A serious message wrapped in a hilarious delivery.

Historic, but not helpful
I appreciate the historic recordings from AA's history, but this one is long on story, short on practical advice.
Unlike the Joe and Charlie tapes, the presentation recorded here was never intended as help for a newcomer.
Jim Williams is a marvelous raconteur. Despite the poor audio quality he is entertaining, engaging, and energetic. I wish I could have been in the audience.
For the seasoned recovering alcoholic this story will be entertaining, but not useful for a newcomer.
