really enjoyed this
This is the 2nd book I've listened to by this author and I really enjoyed both. It's great how she gives a bible passage and can explain how it relates to our modern lives. It's very enlightening and heartwarming. If you enjoy bible study in a fun and charming way, this is the book for you.

Beautiful Reflections
I go hiking regularly and enjoying listening to audiobooks. This was an absolute pleasure to listen to while hiking! Nothing more grounding than listening to positive devotionals while out in God's country. It make me think, distracted me from the lonesomeness of hiking solo, and left me feeling pretty good. If you're looking for an uplifting book, I highly recommend Thankful Roots!

Jesus is my Savior
I found this book inspiring, I myself have left the church I had been attending for many years when the pastor started telling us that we needed to believe in Trump. It boggles my mind that tends of millions of professional Christians passionately, steadfast, support a convicted felon, adjudicated rapist, immigrant, hating, vulgar, racist, homophobic, misogynistic domestic, compulsive, liar, and unrepentant sociopath- and pretend that Jesus would be fine with it.
I believe in Jesus Christ, I asked him into my heart and life, and I believe in empathy, caring, and looking each other in our eyes and looking at them through God’s eyes, not judgment.
